6th-Jul-2011 11:02 am - [Open] In Konoha, there's peace.
Who: Naruto and YOU!
Where: Konoha, the Village of the Hidden Leaf
When: Around high noon
Warnings: None!

At high noon, despite the gentle heat of the sun, the streets of Konoha were still busy. Many civilians and ninja alike roamed the streets--you could tell the difference due to the headband the ninjas wore, or even the green flax vests some donned. The people were bustling to and fro from shop to shop, but despite how any people there were, everyone seemed to be rather happy.

The guards that day were friendly too, allowing people into the massive city through the giant wooden gates with open arms, explaining the Hidden Leaf and its many things to do and see. In the far far back of the city sat the Hokage Monument; the giant carved mountain stood tall and proud.

Naruto himself sat atop a tall telephone line pole, watching the people go by. He had already come to terms that this was a dream, which was why he was avoiding the place all together. Even in his own dream, people gave him strange looks. He was a hero, but still a terrifying stranger to them. His blue eyes watched the city. where he was now, he was far away from the village where all his friends were. He hadn't seen any of them yet. Where could they of been?

If he had a dream, couldn't he of at least dreamed about his friends?

"Way to bite'ttebayo," Naruto complained, flopping back against a high extension of the pole.

[It's been a rainy dream, as Mizuno Ami (aged seven) walks home. Her backpack looks quite plump and full, probably due to the extra books she brings to have something to focus on during lunch.

Some things distract even her.

Ami hops across a few small puddles then, after a quick thought to decide it's alright, she hops across a much larger one. She sails through the air- and clears her target! All dry. She giggles in satisfaction.

The rain has stopped by now and there's a playground nearby, where the ground and equipment are somehow dry enough to use. Ami has a long time before Mama will be home, and she knows the people who live around here and play at this spot.

She can finish her homework after dinner (and she really will). Right now, she really wants to play. She climbs carefully into the seat of one of the swings, which turns out to be a touch too high for her and she pumps her legs but barely gets up momentum.

She might need a little help. She could also use a friend to play with.]
[As summer starts to peak, the beach is a great place to be, and it's bustling. Everything for a day of fun is here: nets for volleyball, plenty of people swimming or sunning themselves, kids chasing or running away from the waves, sand castles, and... a giant igloo.

Somehow, the beach-goers seem to accept this. The snowy dome digs stubbornly right into the sand, arrogantly ignoring the beating heat of the sun like a challenge. The very air around it radiates cold. Catchy pop music with sly lyrics comes from inside, where it's cold enough for the workers to wear parkas and ice skates.

The workers make graceful looping designs as they skate the food to the customers - ice cream in very distinct flavors: "Sailor Mercury" (blueberry with a hint of blackberry), "Sailor Mars" (strawberry and cherry, quite strong), "Sailor Jupiter" (mostly a mix of mints with a touch of watermelon), "Sailor Venus" (peach and mango), and even "Sailor Moon" (rainbow sherbet).

There's a second, personal igloo nearby. There, just outside its entrance, Mizuno Ami is relaxing on the beach. She
deserves it. She reclines lazily on a low chair, book in hand, with a small basket of sandwiches nearby and even a tropical fruit drink right within her grasp.

A small crowd vies for the sunbather's attention, admiring her swimsuit (a modest but stylish one-piece), inviting her to join a game, showing off their own efforts, or offering ice cream. All in all? Perfect.]

[Bodhum, the beginning of everything. This is where the destinies of the six l'Cie intertwined, where everyone watched the same fireworks, and watched the same sunset. Then ultimately, tried to get purged.

But that was all different here. In this little dreamscape, there was no purging, no fal'Cie, no l'Cie, nothing. It was a peaceful marina beach-scape where there was nothing but the beautiful sunset that Bodhum was famous for, the water, and little beach houses and restaurant shacks.

Tourists bustled around, chatting animatedly about the upcoming fireworks for the evening, what they've done that day, or buying souvenirs.

But Vanille herself sat there, watching the sunset on the horizon of the ocean on a pier. This was the area where she met Serah.

What sort of company would grace her this time around?]

[Oerba, Vanille's dear home town. What would have happened if she and Fang never became l'Cie? Well she can very well experience it now. There she was, just a normal girl from Gran Pulse. Though tougher than the average human girl which came from living around many large beasts, she was sans powers, abilities, summons, and tattoos.

She sits upon a concrete railing and looks outwards at the mountainous scenery, smiling wistfully and swinging her legs delicately. There are Oerbian people walking around, bustling, laughing, and being a large family with each other.

A little robot comes rolling up to Vanille, making a little noise. The girl looks down at it]

Bhakti!

[She looks over at it and pulls it up with her on the concrete ledge.]

Here to give me some company?

[She giggles, but she knows this isn't her place. She knows this isn't her reality. She knows she's curled up next to Fang in a crystal stasis, dreaming forever with her friends all right and saved and she's all right with that.]
