[ You're now in a castle dungeon with unrealistic pixel-lava covering the walls. It's like a level in an old video-game. In fact, it probably is.

And the final boss is a man-sized T-Rex who is guarding a cage containing the beautiful princess. Everyone can see Hiro smirking at this T-Rex after he had unsheathed the sword strapped over his shoulder and stabbed the T-Rex in the heart before could make the first move. The T-Rex screams in agony while it explodes into a thousand gold coins that fall all over the dungeon floor. ]

Yatta! [ Now Hiro confidently struts over to the cage and unlocks the door to the princess ready to sweep her off her feet as her knight in shining armor. ] Come Princ--

[ He stops though. Something is wrong. The beautiful princess isn't the beautiful princess! Somehow that princess is actually just that T-Rex again. In drag!

Hiro can't believe his eyes. All he can do is stand there in shock with his jaw hanging open.

"Sorry your princess is in another castle," says the T-Rex. ]

[ It's a bright morning and the sun is shining. The air is crisp. It's a new day for new beginnings— it's an almost perfect day. It's the first day of class.

The morning had started like most others, albeit with a bit of a late start. That much isn't unusual. It's the sense of deja vu that he can't shake, like he's been through this day before, and that this may be the second, third, or fourth time he's played through it all. He can't explain it, but he remembers eating the last bite of his breakfast, managing to lock his door in a rush, all while his mentor's words ring in his head: first impressions are important, Yukimura-!

That's something he's remembering even now as he glances at his watch— ]

Yes, Oyakata-sama...!

[ But it's that moment of distraction (that he's been through before, he's sure he remembers it) that catches him off guard, and he doesn't know what - or who - he hits, but he knows, when he finally lands on the ground, it's going to hurt.

When his eyes finally open and he manages to sit on the pavement, he winces. ]

I'm terribly sorry--

[ This meeting has happened before (he knows it in his bones); but who will he meet this time? ]

((ooc; Yukimura is reliving his first day at school. Or... technically not quite at school yet. Tag in as someone he ran into, or someone who saw him take a dive, or however you like! ))

[This dream is a strange one. A beautiful world, or at least it once was. The ruins are scarce, and there are few places to go besides the castle. Sure, the Rising Falls are interesting, but there's not much out there. However, there aren't many rooms with open access. Once you get past the Castle Gates, the entrance hall opens before you. From there, up the stairs and to the left, one can find the two-story library where the shelves can move depending on the weight of the books on them. But up the stairs and forward, the central lift stop is where you find yourself. From there, only one other actual room inside the castle can be found in the crumbling remains. A small room, the chapel.

No matter where you decide to stay and explore, eventually, there's a boy who you run into. And he doesn't seem very happy to see anyone. In fact, he seems guarded and unsure.]

...How did you get in here?

[Just another day at Senkou.

Which means that Masamune isn't really paying attention in class. Honestly, why would he - even though he has a huge interest in the English language, he's already done the homework and actually skipped chapters ahead. He absently begins sketching something in his notebook, only to jolt when the teacher calls on him for a translation question.]

....

[He looks back down at his notebook, eye widening for a moment as he sees the samurai helmet he had drawn, complete with crescent-shaped ornamentation on the front. He shakes his head slightly before standing, looking pretty much bored before speaking:]

"No matter how people try to prevent it, war and conflict will always affect someone."

[The teacher is slightly dumbfounded, but satisfied, allows Masamune to sit down, to which Masa just lets out another sigh, glancing back down at his notebook. It didn't make much sense, but then again, not much in his life honestly did.]
