[You're in Tokyo. Don't ask why, that's just how life goes. There's a vampire vs. slayer battle raging, with a ratio something like 1000:1. It's not a pretty sight. If you look up, you'll see one hundred pounds worth of girl hurtling for the ground, all dressed in black.]

Oh, Hell. And I don't even mean that in the literal sense.

[She's plummeting to her death and where was Willow? This was definitely not of the good. As Buffy cuts through the air, one by one the vamps go up in smoke. Her eyes widen as it happens, but by the time she's less than 20 meters over solid ground everyone has vanished, except one girl and one really pissed off witch. Not Willow, either. Bad witch.

The witch has Buffy's scythe and before Buffy can call out, she stabs Renée right through the heart. And suddenly, they vanish too.]
Man down. Man down.

[But no one's there to hear her, and she lands almost delicately; unharmed, on the pavement.]

{ooc; feel free to assume CR this Buffy is timeskipped forward by six or seven years}

It's not raining, nothing's going up in flames or coming crashing down in an apocalyptic fashion, and as far as Peter's concerned this is already a good dream. He's aware he has low expectations, but it doesn't matter because this dream is his own and when so few things are good, he'll take what he can get.

Wandering aimlessly through Central Park while dusk sets on the world has slowly started to become enough of a comfort that it's seeping into his unconscious when he needs it most. Nothing's expected of him here except for perhaps the occasional nod in greeting towards a passerby, and there's nothing he can do wrong as much as there's nothing he can do right. Even though somehow he's still ended up in his paramedic gear and the place is far quieter than usual, it doesn't matter. Because this isn't a rooftop, and this isn't work, and sometimes Peter still does actually enjoy taking a moment to watch the world pass by.

[ ooc; feel free to hit up this post however you'd like to -- be it prose or actionspam/brackets. i'll respond accordingly :3 ]

[ It's an unfamiliar site that you find yourself in tonight. An impossible room with different colors and glass floors, staircases that seem to go nowhere. At the center of the room is a column made of glass with panels filled with nonsense items: a typewriter, levers, hot and cold handles, even a phone! There's even a monitor hanging from the ceiling next to the man dressed in a tweet jacket and a bowtie. ]

No, this is definitely not the Eye of Orion... it doesn't make any sense! You're giving me nonsense, old girl, absolute babble! I know that the transfer might of been a bit confusing and backwards for you, but, no data whatsoever? What sort of nasty thing have you got in your time rotor this time?

[ Suddenly the man stops and turns and looks at you. He glances to the sides, shifting slightly, his hands flexing into small fists as he steps towards the edge of the glass ramp. ]

How did you get in here? No one can just walk into the TARDIS.

((ooc: intro post! ♥ this is a dream taking place within the console room of the TARDIS. if you have any questions regarding it, lemmie know! and, he doesn't know he's dreaming just yet. ))

[As far as the eye can see there's only a field of grass with a light wind blowing. It's freezing cold, but the boy laying back to look at the stars doesn't seem to notice. Or, if he does, he's used to it. He's been here for a while, slowly watching them blink out of existence one by one. Each time they do he reaches up, sadness written on his face - in the air around him. He can't stop it, he knows that, but he reaches anyway, trying as hard as he can. As if that will help. It doesn't and as each one slowly winks out, he seems to curl up on himself - bitter, hurt - lonely. It seems like hours, but soon, there's only a handful left.

Ventus shivers, rolling over and curling up - He's alone. He shouldn't have tried. How does he reach the light anyway? He can't. Sitting up, he pulls out the pieces of his wayfinder, face an open book of abandonment and betrayal. Hurt and anger.
] ....I wish...

[And flings it away as far and hard as he can, uncaring where they fall.

Overhead, several more stars wink out, the rest shining just that much fainter.
] I've never known you if you were just going to abandon me.

{{OOC: Tags returned when I wake up. }}
[You are on a roof with a perfect view of New York City all around it. Standing there taking it in is a woman in a silk red dress and matching heels. She doesn't acknowledge you. In fact if you did not know any better you would say she had no idea you were. So expect a surprise when she suddenly addresses you without moving whatsoever.]

I can't stay here for long. Whatever you want can wait until I'm done.

AVALANCHE, a four-man team at the moment with Barret leading, reach the 05 reactor with the Shinra tower rising up behind. He pauses, glowering at it before setting about the night's agenda: blowing this reactor sky-high. They already got one, but they gotta keep momentum up. They keep going this way, bit by bit, and President Shinra himself will have his fatass come tumbling down.

There's resistance, but they get in easy, him and Biggs and Wedge and Jessie. Tifa and Cloud? Missing: someone's mad at a spiky-headed fool asking for money that had to come out of Marlene's future schooling. He'd rather not need that idiot and in the dream, he doesn't. The bomb is set: ten minutes to get themselves out before the ka-boom. Easy. Waaay too easy.

So when Shinra sends a giant arachnid robot after them, Barret isn't surprised that they're being attacked or even that Shinra's using some weird freaky-ass spidey-bot to do it. Hell, yesterday it was a damn scorpion. Nah. What gives him the creeps is that the thing looks so much like a real spider, down to having hairs on its legs. That's just messed up. And that, when they flee the reactor to get away from both bomb and spider and the Shinra tower comes in sight again, the top of it's vibrating like a vacuum. Finally -- when Barret looks back at the exit he just took -- "The hell?!" he yells. "What kind o' messed-up monster made that hole?!" It'd look like a mousehole if it wasn't bigger than him.

And the spider is coming out... into the living room, where the larger-than-life Barret is smaller than a real arachnid. But there's no time to think about that, or how the rest of his team's gone poof. Barret points his gunarm at it and opens fire with a flurry of bullets. His dreams might turn weird, but Barret himself is a straight shooter in thought and arm.

[ BE FUN-SIZE AND JOIN A BOSS BATTLE AGAINST A SPIDER. Be normal-size and wonder just what that sound is -- like gunfire, but since when is gunfire that quiet and high-pitched? Squash the spider, vacuum Barret up--or have your own sizing mishaps in this crazy house. Feel free to add on more rooms besides a living room, toss in roaming pets ... basically if it sounds fun to shrink your character, go for it.

This is pretty much an open post, so I'm game for threadjacks or people making their own scenarios! Barret's going to be bugging anyone he finds. I finally finished writing this! ]

[Jenny looks around, taking in the familiar dreamscape. She's never been to this planet, not once, yet somehow it appears over and over in her dreams. Again Jenny finds herself wandering through the fields of red grass, feeling the oddest connection to this planet that she knows yet at the same time, she doesn't. A light breeze ruffles her hair, which is out of her usual ponytail and instead cascading down her back in soft blonde waves.

She parks herself down beneath a silver tree and gazes up at the orange sky contentedly.]

[OOC: Welcome to Gallifrey, home of the Time Lords. Jenny's never been here because it was destroyed before her creation, but it is in essence her homeworld, she just doesn't know that quite yet.]

[You're in an open field. The sun is shining brightly, wild flowers are scattered about, and underneath the only true around is a boy with blond hair, ordinary clothes, and he's smiling just as bright at the sun because he's free, finally free, and living in a world without experiments, strange dead cities, or cruelty. If you happen to be in his family or rather he thinks you are, he will be turning to you with excitement lightening up his features.]

This is the future I wanted. What about you? Is this everything you dreamed it would be? [Well? Was it?]

[Buffy is facing this attractive looking bloke in the middle of an abandoned street. She's getting a little winded when one Peter Petrelli appears. Which is making Buffy wig because she's only ever seen this guy from that weird book club dream where they read about zombies.

He's coming closer, but she doesn't exactly have the energy to fight him and Big Ugly, so she really hopes he comes in peace. She feels his hand on her arm, and oh, she's - getting helped back to her feet. She quickly brushes some hair behind her ear and smiles a little through the ouch.]

Uh, thanks. [The demon comes back around, angrier than before, and she tries to shove him out of the way but her timing's off. Peter grabs the axe she dropped and rushes the creature--] No, I'm the only one who can-- [She cuts herself off as Peter lands a kick. What was this? Was Peter a vampire? She settles in to watch, and it's easy to see Peter's stronger than a vamp. He's exactly as strong as Buffy. After a few minutes he wears the thing down and manages to cut off its head, spraying everything around with a thick gooey substance. It has the consistency of Gushers and Buffy knows one shower won't take that out of her hair, but she turns her interest to Peter as the demon's enormous body crashes to the street.]

Okay, Buddy, spill. How'd you do that?

[Feel free to interrupt this little ~scene~ in any way you choose. Buffy and Peter are just going to derp around and try to figure this out 8D]

[It's another time for a day in Anya's life. Only this time, she's currently in bed with her fiance, Xander, and trying to undress him. That is, until she hears the sounds of someone else in the room. Dream!Xander backs away from her, looking flustered and embarrassed. Anya? She just looks annoyed someone's coming in during orgasm time.]

Do you mind? We're a little busy right now.
