[It was huge.

That's pretty much how you could describe the odd library that materialized there and then. It wasn't even much of a library as it was a labyrinth of sorts that had books shelved all over, some of them having fallen in the pathway due to how much excess there was. There were stairs, plenty of stairs, twisting and turning, upside down and right-side up, rickety-old ones and carpeted marbled ones. The walls were lined up with ladders of different sizes, shapes and quality, each pertaining to a different set of literature just waiting to be read. One of the shelves even had a metal case around it, with the sign "Warning: Books bite." written on it.

Ted himself can be found reading on one of the stairs, hanging upside down for anyone below him, though he didn't seem to believe gravity existed even as he flipped another page. He was sitting on a stack of books, and beside him sat a cage where there was a trapped book as well, odd enough by itself. He himself was engrossed with the book, frowning as he scans it.]

If anything, this isn't how mermaids look like at all.

[ The first thing you hear is the ocean.  There is a slight fog.  Bobby remembers going outside, but he doesn't remember how long he's been on the beach.  And he begins to realize this might be a dream.  He is laying on the sand and sits up.  He wonders if this is going to turn into a nightmare or not.]
17th-Jul-2011 02:52 pm - Scene 1 ♫ Ship of Dreams
[If there ever was a ship qualified to sail the skies in the lands of someone's dreams it was none other then the Prima Vista.  With it's golden towers and stained glass windows and the luxurious elaborate decor ordaining each of the ships graceful curves.  It wasn't gaudy though, no not by any means.  It was a true work of art, and a real classy lady.  She was a high maintenance sort of gal though, though each one of the band of thieves and actors that called her their home would agree she was more then worth all the work to keep her sparkling.

Today the Prima Vista was entertaining guests as it made a slow loop around a beautiful deep blue lake under a bright and cloudless sky.  The guests were nobles from Alexandria perhaps, there to enjoy a brief one day cruise on the legendary ship.  The Prima Vista never allowed guests on board like this though so it was a touch odd, but such is the nature of dreams.

A youth with golden hair and a monkey's tail by the name of Zidane was currently engaged in entertaining a small group of people.  Being the center of attention was one of his favorite things to do after all (right after flirting with cute girls that is).  He was balanced upon the ship's golden railing and performing a dazzling if alarming series of flips and tumbles.  Despite the fact that in such a place one small slip could have sent him tumbling off into the water blow he showed not a hint of hesitation, and even laughed and winked at any lovely young lady who happened to walk by.]

[ Wherever you are in your dreams tonight, you'll notice a particularly odd looking blue box with a man standing outside of it. His hands are in his pockets as he leans against it, grinning, looking at the landscape of the dream, which is fashioned to your liking. A city, hills, perhaps even just an open field or even a ship at sea. Tonight, the dream is shaped to your liking! ]

(( ooc: If we've talked things for the event this month, feel free to throw it in the subject! otherwise, no-event Eleven post. :D ))

[Busy. That's what this dream is like--quite busy. Buildings everywhere seem as though they're stretching too high, their tops faded into fuzziness, never giving a clear distinction of how far they go. The streets are full of people passing by, no cars, just endlessly shifting bodies, on route to some untold destination. Though even the word 'people' is relative.

For mixed amongst those are hulking figures, demons, serpentlike and humanlike, animal and some that can be given no label to, but all distinctive enough to be noticed. But the passers-by walk with the demons as easily as that, never noticing that they're at all different.

Naoki sits on a bench on the empty sidewalk, his knees pulled up to his chest, arms wrapped around them loosely. Yellow eyes flicker to and fro, watching the seemingly never ending flow of people. None ever step foot on the sidewalk where his bench is, leaving it otherwise empty. He sighs after a little while, straightens up somewhat and rubs the back of his neck under the horn there, eyes squinted slightly against the glare of the sun high above.

ooc: no theme here! Do with as you will!]
