[Anya is sitting behind the counter of the Magic Box, like she does most days. And she's going over one of the ledgers like she has been lately since Giles keeps making her double check everything. But she's still watching the patrons out of the corner of her eye.

If there's one thing Anya hates, it's people who loiter around and never buy anything. They are the leeches of Capitalist society, as far as she's concerned.]

If you don't want to be thrown out of the store, I highly recommend you actually purchase something.

[Ami doesn't quite mean to loiter. But well, a magic shoppe was something pretty new. That meant curiosity, and that meant not being sure what was available or what she wanted to buy.]

It depends on what kind of spell you're trying to do. I could suggest you purchase one of our more expensive items which you be nice because that means more money but practically it would do you little good if you didn't need it.

[Buffy has to doubletake when she sees the shop pop up on her dreamscape... but she slowly opens the door and makes her unwieldy way inside. She even has to laugh as she catches the tail end of Anya's threat.]

"It depends on what you want to do. We have all sorts of ingredients and spell books here, but if I don't know know what you're trying to achieve, it's hard to know what to recommend. Though if you want, I could always point you in the direction of some of our more expensive items. I particularly like when people buy things that are expensive."

There were a lot of people asking for recommendations today, which was a little different. Usually, people had an idea of what they were looking for when they came here.
