001;

[Anya is sitting behind the counter of the Magic Box, like she does most days. And she's going over one of the ledgers like she has been lately since Giles keeps making her double check everything. But she's still watching the patrons out of the corner of her eye.

If there's one thing Anya hates, it's people who loiter around and never buy anything. They are the leeches of Capitalist society, as far as she's concerned.
]

If you don't want to be thrown out of the store, I highly recommend you actually purchase something.

[Ami doesn't quite mean to loiter. But well, a magic shoppe was something pretty new. That meant curiosity, and that meant not being sure what was available or what she wanted to buy.]

Do you have a recommendation?

foiled :(

[Buffy has to doubletake when she sees the shop pop up on her dreamscape... but she slowly opens the door and makes her unwieldy way inside. She even has to laugh as she catches the tail end of Anya's threat.]

Anya, it's just me. [though she knew it wasn't...just anything.]

I don't know about this type of magic.

[identity profile] waterfell.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
To learn about it, maybe. Have any good books?

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
Does this place have food?

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
Uh, no. I was hoping for things closer to ... edible.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2011-03-08 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
I was hoping you had some magic food. Like a box of lo mein that endlessly refills itself.

[shifty eyes]

Is there anything you've got that can ... re-soul someone? I guess.

Neal picks up a book, paging through it for a moment before looking up at her. "What would you recommend?" He offers her a charming smile.

He has little to no idea what he's doing here but well,, he may as well explore.

Thank you. I'll look through them.

[Ami files through to the back of the room, where she browses the shelves for a book with beginning information that doesn't seem too simplified.

After awhile, she comes back to the front.]

This one looks right.

A person. ... I think. His soul is missing.

[identity profile] alongadream.livejournal.com 2011-03-09 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'm sorry!

[She hadn't meant to loiter but then, Ellen was a curious soul. Everything had to be looked at and this meant she spent so much more time browsing than the normal shopper did. Particularly in this place that had such a touch of mysticism to it.]

... I wonder. Do you have anything on fae folk here?

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2011-03-09 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
This guy doesn't have one. Trust me. I have this whole soul detector thing going on.

[identity profile] slayerpreferred.livejournal.com 2011-03-09 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
A...message? What sort of message?

[identity profile] smileforaliving.livejournal.com 2011-03-09 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
Spell books. That's different but he'll go with it. "Set me up with the basic," he tries, offering her a smile. "After all, always good to have a strong foundation, right?"
