[ Charles is standing in a field. Behind him - in a distance is a house that is his in Westchester in 1962. It's quiet here, and he is enjoying the quiet, though he definitely wasn't expecting it. Last he recalled, he was dripping wet and standing aboard a CIA ship. This was a pleasant surprise, and he was mostly aware that it was a dream. He let his hands slip into his pockets as he took to the quiet grounds.

It is bright outside, cloud free. He looks up, a smile spread across his lips. He thinks of Raven, and how much she might enjoy a few moments here with him. Then he thinks of those CIA agents that he had just met. The clouds change just a little bit when his thoughts change, briefly darkening. The smile fades, just a little, and is replaced with curiosity and a bit of concern.

He turns on a heel and looks around. He's never had a dream be so vivid. ]

[ Charles is stubborn in his beliefs. ]

I've never really seen this sort of place. In Tokyo, most people live in apartments. [There are very grand apartments, to be sure, but still not this sort of space.]

Do they? I can't imagine not living here, now.

I'm eager to see the rest, then. [She hangs back to let him go ahead of her.]

[ Charles leads her around the home, there's a lot of unused rooms on the way. ] It's nto that exciting.

I'm interested in the art and furnishings.

My mother had good taste, I suppose.

You haven't changed it at all? [said with her neck craning to look at the ceilings briefly.]

You must be devoted.

Not yet, at least. I've been in university. It wasn't a priority.

[She said it because she can understand devotion to family, especially to a mother.]

Where did you study?

Oxford.

[ Charles took it as devotion to the house. Forget his mother. ]

I'd be interested to visit there some day. [Even if just to lose herself in the libraries and museums.] Maybe you'll show me.

Who knows, I have a hard time predicting what I'll dream about.

If they're your dreams, it should be possible to control them sometimes.

What will you do when you can?

Go places that aren't here.

You want to get away, a little bit. See new places. Have new experiences.
