[ Charles is standing in a field. Behind him - in a distance is a house that is his in Westchester in 1962. It's quiet here, and he is enjoying the quiet, though he definitely wasn't expecting it. Last he recalled, he was dripping wet and standing aboard a CIA ship. This was a pleasant surprise, and he was mostly aware that it was a dream. He let his hands slip into his pockets as he took to the quiet grounds.
It is bright outside, cloud free. He looks up, a smile spread across his lips. He thinks of Raven, and how much she might enjoy a few moments here with him. Then he thinks of those CIA agents that he had just met. The clouds change just a little bit when his thoughts change, briefly darkening. The smile fades, just a little, and is replaced with curiosity and a bit of concern.
He turns on a heel and looks around. He's never had a dream be so vivid. ]
[[ ooc; yaaaaaay. finally first posting. Also! permissions posts are good for telepaths. You can also note here on yes or no on mind-reading. :) ]]

It isn't. The horrifying part had been that the one who destroyed them all was supposed to be their light and their hope. The horrifying part had been that everything ended. The horrifying part had been that it began to repeat.]
I was reborn much later.

That's why I speak the way I do about this.

Separating yourself from it...is it difficult?

But it is. Everything she hates, accuses, and suspects the princess of, really comes down to the princess - Usagi - and her.
Besides, it is possible that anyone could separate herself from the destruction of her world?]
I'm part of it. I fought that war in the past, and I fought this time, too.

The same war?

It needed to end, don't you think?

Except, perhaps, in the hearts of those who battled, who still struggle with the toll that fighting and death take on a soul.]

[She's seen that only happen once - and it hadn't been for peace. Quite the opposite, the people of Earth had come together for the power to repel their enemy.]

Stubborn.
