[She waits impatiently to go outside, where she can set her foot on the floor of the only place that is her own and inviolate: Mariner Castle, made to her every whim and taste and fancy.

It is an impressive building: classical in structure, with a bluish tint even to its stone. It is grand and imposing, though its very size emphasizes the quiet; this is not a place of teeming life and the thriving bustle of Earth.]

[ He tilts his head back as he looks at it, letting out a low whistle. ]

[Pride of ownership is strong as Ami bypasses the various security clearances (her sanctum is hers alone, and those she chooses to share it with briefly) to be able to actually enter the building. She pauses just outside the doors.]

Hurry up! I won't leave it open forever.

[But her smile widens at the whistle. Admiration.]

[As soon as she crosses the threshold, there's a gust of wind from nowhere, a sense of black rose petals, and Ami dressed in the signature gown of Princess Mercury, sigil showing on her forehead.

Here, at least, she is recognized as significant.]

The computer systems still connect to the former Moon Castle computers. [She grins slyly.] I made sure of that myself back then.

[ He quietly watches her transformation and wears a sad smile, or perhaps it's a proud smile. It's hard to tell. He feels like he's seeing Mercury for the first time as who she truly is. ]
