[007 ☿] Dream a little dream

[It's been a rainy dream, as Mizuno Ami (aged seven) walks home. Her backpack looks quite plump and full, probably due to the extra books she brings to have something to focus on during lunch.

Some things distract even her.

Ami hops across a few small puddles then, after a quick thought to decide it's alright, she hops across a much larger one. She sails through the air- and clears her target! All dry. She giggles in satisfaction.

The rain has stopped by now and there's a playground nearby, where the ground and equipment are somehow dry enough to use. Ami has a long time before Mama will be home, and she knows the people who live around here and play at this spot.

She can finish her homework after dinner (and she really will). Right now, she really wants to play. She climbs carefully into the seat of one of the swings, which turns out to be a touch too high for her and she pumps her legs but barely gets up momentum.

She might need a little help. She could also use a friend to play with.]

[When she wakes up, she'll be amazed that someone could say words like that to her - but of course it's this her, young and still innocent.

Young and still innocent, it still makes her happy - like the dreams she's had sometimes of riding on a white pegasus.]

Ami! [ Naruto nodded, grasping both her hands now, and spinning around in a circle in the air. ]

So Ami! What do you want to be when you grow up?

I'm going to study hard and become a doctor. [Just like Mama.]

Whoa, a doctor huh? That sounds awesome!

Dreams or important, so don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it dattebayo! And...

[ he smiled. ] ...If you think everyone doesn't believe you...

...Just remember I'll always believe in you.

Besides, girls with great dreams are the best!

She'll wonder what on Earth made her even capable of dreaming words like that, when she wakes up. And of course the answer at hand is a simple, if pathetic one: She wants someone to believe in her like that, to treat her kindly, to be there even when others aren't.

Right now, however, it simply makes her happy. She calls out her dream to the world at large:]

My dream is to be a doctor. My dream and Mama's!

[ Naruto felt himself grinning. After she shouted her dream, he didn't the same ]

I wanna be Hokage! The most powerful in the village!

We'll both do it, Ami! We'll show them what's what!

[ he looked down, starting to slowly lower the both of them down towards earth. ]

[All good things come to an end, and Ami bore the return to the ground stoically.]

I had fun. Thank you very much for helping me fly.

If we ever meet again, I'll teach you! [ he grinned, holding out his hands like he was soaring, before lowering them and looking at Ami and her little cosplay wings. ]

I'll go home and finish my homework now. [That actually sounds like a good way to spend her evening, and besides, she's in a good mood now from this.] Goodbye!

Bye! [ Naruto stepped back, his backpack having disappeared from the dream, as most things did in dreams when long forgotten. With that, he lifted himself into the air, before taking off, heading into the sky. He looked down, and waved at Ami, just as he slowly disappeared from sight. ]
