[ It's a bright morning and the sun is shining. The air is crisp. It's a new day for new beginnings— it's an almost perfect day. It's the first day of class.
The morning had started like most others, albeit with a bit of a late start. That much isn't unusual. It's the sense of deja vu that he can't shake, like he's been through this day before, and that this may be the second, third, or fourth time he's played through it all. He can't explain it, but he remembers eating the last bite of his breakfast, managing to lock his door in a rush, all while his mentor's words ring in his head: first impressions are important, Yukimura-!
That's something he's remembering even now as he glances at his watch— ]
Yes, Oyakata-sama...!
[ But it's that moment of distraction (that he's been through before, he's sure he remembers it) that catches him off guard, and he doesn't know what - or who - he hits, but he knows, when he finally lands on the ground, it's going to hurt.
When his eyes finally open and he manages to sit on the pavement, he winces. ]
I'm terribly sorry--
[ This meeting has happened before (he knows it in his bones); but who will he meet this time? ]
((ooc; Yukimura is reliving his first day at school. Or... technically not quite at school yet. Tag in as someone he ran into, or someone who saw him take a dive, or however you like! ))

There's a flash of something, perhaps a memory? Though it was strange, it wasn't the fact that he didn't just know, but the anticipation was something he had never felt before the moment. At least in this lifetime.
The sense of deja vu was grating, but he pushed it aside for the moment, ignoring the sudden racing of his heart. Play it cool.]
It's fine. [Yet not at the same time. What the hell was wrong with him?]
sorry for the late, sob
Like he's shaking. Like a bell is echoing through his mind and he wonders if anyone else can hear it. And he blinks, his brow scrunching up. ]
You—
[ it's like recognition but it's not. He's never met this person in his life... ]
Is it?
s'all good! 8D
He gives a snort, a small grin creeping up on his lips]
No. Guess not.

I'm going to be even later than I thought!
[ But that doesn't seem to matter, really, not now. School is a secondary concern from his place on the ground, staring at this guy. Yukimura also can say he rather likes this feeling.
And it's a feeling that just intensifies as that grin appears, almost making a thread of anger spike in his blood at the presumptuousness the other boy is showing. But he still likes it. ]
Is there something amusing you about it?

[Masamune casually shrugs, though the amused glint in his eye doesn't diminish.]
But I think running late's on the bottom of your priority list, am I wrong?

Feeling like a complete idiot he offers a hand to the kid on the pavement. ] Sorry.
