[ Harry's locked in a room where there are no definite doors and the walls are solid white aside from the very obvious writing all over the walls. He's holding a strange looking quill and blood is pouring from his hand as he's clearly written 'I must not tell lies' all over the room- walls, ceiling, and floor are covered in blood-red lettering. ]

[ He drops the quill and looks around again, in a far corner there's a tombstone and a freshly dug grave. Harry moves over to it to see who's grave it is, a sinking feeling in his stomach tells him he knows exactly who's it is. ]

Here lies Cedric Diggory. Died in a tragic accident

[ Harry stares numbly at the Tombstone as Anger starts to build, his fingers twitching to grab his wand. ]

'Has it sunk in yet?'

[ A sickening voice like poisoned honey sounds from all around the room. And before he's even aware of what he's doing Harry has his wand-]

Reducto!

[ The tombstone blasts into pieces. ]

[Standing quietly in the corner opposite the now blasted tombstone, just quietly observing for a moment.]

[Then...] "Reducto", hm? That's an odd sort of word choice, isn't it? Latin base, French origins from the word reducier... to hear it, the definition one would think to best fit the word would be "diminish", but the action hardly seems to befit the definition, does it?

[ Harry jolts at the sudden voice-he had been under the impression he was alone before glancing around and quickly locating to source- his hand shaking with fury as well as the unbelievable pain in his bleeding hand. ]

It's the reductor curse.

[Stepping closer, hands tucked behind her back and playing up the harmless female act for him. Look Harry, she's so small and pretty, she couldn't possibly be dangerous.]

It's an understatement is what it is. [She pulls one hand from behind her back and points at Harry's bleeding hand.] And I suppose that is what one might call an overstatement.

That? [ Harry glances down at his hand in disgust. ] That's from detention.

Detention? What sort of lies would one have to tell to warrent something like that?

I've been spreading Nasty rumors that Voldemort is back and that he killed Cedric.

[ He looks back over at the destroyed tombstone. ]

Except that it's not a lie. It really did happen and I saw it.

Then you shouldn't have carved that into your hand, don't you think? Unless it's some kind of ironic statement.

Is it? I'm so bad at identifying those.

I didn't have a choice-my stupid teacher made me mad and because I spoke out against her she stuck me in detention and had me write lines-which didn't seem so bad at first but the quill she made me write with somehow cuts the hand open so that you're writing in your own blood.

[Waggling a finger in front of his face.] Don't be silly, you always have a choice when it comes to self-harm.

What was I supposed to do? Tell her no way? Show her that she'd won? She's one telling lies, not me.

How does she win by you refusing to lie about lying? No matter the circumstances, the idea that an instructor in a place of power could be allowed to hurt a student is disgusting.

She wins if I admit she's gotten to me. And it's not exactly possible for me to refuse is it? I was nearly expelled once and I don't want to give her reason to expel me.

I would gladly take the expulsion, if I were you.

Don't you understand that she's won as soon as she's managed to make you start hurting yourself for her?

I can't be expelled! If that happens I'll never be able to use magic again! I-I mean I-I suppose I could run away-my God father has a place I could stay.
