Spell 002 | Harry Potter

[ He can vaguely hear everyone in the stands cheering. He knows that each school is cheering on it's champion but for some reason he makes out the Cheers for Cedric Diggory the best. He ignores the horrible sinking feeling at the sound of that name and plunges on through the maze. ]

[ He recognizes this place easily and his heart gives a horrible jolt. He's back in the maze-the maze from last June. He moves along the high hedges, keeping an eye out for anything that might attack him as his hunts-not for the Triwizard cup but the exit. He doesn't want to be here-he know how it ends and it's something he absolutely refuses to relive. He can hear something on his heels and chances a look back to see he's been running through some kind of purple mist. While his attention is snagged he trips over something and pitches to the floor. ]

[ He lands with a thud and it somehow plants an idea into his head-Cedric isn't dead yet! He's overcome with a burst of hope as he realizes that if he can just find the Hufflepuff he can warn him about the cup! Tell him it's a portkey and Voldemort won't be able to come back to power! He scrambles to his feet and holds his wand out, hissing at it. ]

Point me!




(( ooc: Spoilers - He won't find Cedric >: Also, This probably has potential to get pretty dark. At the point Harry was taken from Cedric's death was only about three months ago so yes, his dreams are still plagued by it. ))

Harry!

[ Oh, a friend! Finally. He thought he'd be stuck talking to the maze wall forever. ]

[ Harry quickly lowers his wand and visibly relaxes. ]

Sorry.. I didn't know it was you-hang on. How did you get in the maze?

No idea. Dreams are a bit funny like that. Just like how you never quite remember the beginning of one.

Right. It's a dream. [ He deflates considerably as he realizes his mission to save Cedric and prevent Voldemort's return is all in vain. He feels slightly sick once he realizes he'll just have to follow along the path he knows the dream will take him. That he'll have to relive Cedric Diggory's death and he'll Have to watch Voldemort rise again. ]

[ ...Or does he? The Doctor being here already changes the dream considerably so maybe he can change it's course. It might not make a shred of difference once he woke up but should he at least try? He really wasn't looking forward to the graveyard. ]

...Have you seen Cedric?

[ The Doctor reaches up and pats him on the shoulder. He understands, Harry. More than you'd know. ]

Cedric Diggory? The Hufflepuff?

Ah... yeah. [ So... he's heard of Cedric then. Harry briefly wonders what he's heard about Cedric-whether he knows the truth about what happened or if all he knows is what the Ministry's printed. ] I'm trying to find him actually. There's something I need to tell him.

[ He doesn't have it in either of his hearts to tell Harry that in dreams, you can't save people. No matter how hard he tried. Instead he reaches into his pocket and pulls out the sonic screwdriver. ]

Let's see what we can find then, eh?

[ Harry nods mutely, his eyes on the screwdriver as he eyes it curiously. That's not a wand. Can't be. It doesn't look like it came from a tree. ]

He's got to be more this way.

[ he gestured more to his left. He raised his wand before muttering Lumos so that tip lit up. ]

You remember your way through the maze, don't you? Just retrace your steps! [ He follows after, buzzing through frequencies. ]

[ ...I sort of do.. but most of the maze is a blur. It all seemed so... I don't know... unimportant after the grave-graveyard.

True enough. Well, we just head to the center! Shouldn't be too hard.

[ Harry nods and uses the four point spell again ]

I-I kind of remember I kept running into him. But he was the only one aside from when Krum was under imperious.

Events won't help much. Places, things! Think of what the area looked like. A statue or maybe even the way the hedge wall formed.

It all looked the same, actually. That's... kind of why I've been using the four-point spell. But I must have gotten turned around because North is that way. [ He points ]

Right now, I guess I should look for that Sphinx.

Sphinxes are all liars. She'd say she lost her nose by a canon ball! She didn't! It was actually a bet that the Pharaoh lost--oh, you don't mean the one in Egypt, do you?

..No... I was actually talking about the one in the maze. She was.. er.. nice enough since I solved her riddle.

Oh! Well. Never met her. Hopefully she's nice.
