Spell 001 | Harry Potter | Behind on Homework
[ There is a boy seated at a small desk in a darkened room scribbling away on a piece of parchment surrounded by books. He stops writing only to pull out more Parchment and starting to write on that. It isn't long before he grabs more parchment and abandons the other piece. He starts writing faster now as the stack of books begins to grow in height as does the blank parchment. ]
[ He's not writing fast enough, however as the stacks continue to grow and grow until they can no longer continue up and topple over-spilling all over the classroom floor. Somehow, when they toppled they took Harry's half-completed homework with them and all the papers and books are scattered all over the floor. When he goes to sort through them again the papers seem quite insistent on staying where they are and a few even try to bite the poor kid. ]
[ They rearrange themselves on the floor and the essay he had been writing shows itself at last. He doesn't think anything of it as it waves to him and stalks forward to grab it, only it disappears and then reappears on top of the chandelier, still waving and now it even feels like it's giggling while it's so far out of his reach. ]

No? That's OK, because despite the bright blue of the Ravenclaw uniform, and despite being the right age of fifteen in this dream, Harry has never seen this girl before. Ami's lips curve upward in a faint smirk as she takes stock of the chaos in the room.
She always gets her homework done promptly.]
Letting homework build up like this is a sign of laziness. Ravenclaw will certainly pull ahead in the house rankings at this rate.

...I think she wants me to fail. [ He pulls his wand out of his pocket and points it at the homework taunting him. ]
Accio Potions Essay! [ ...nothing happens. ]

[She does not have much sympathy for the famous boy-who-gets-excused-for-every-rule-he-breaks-just-because-it's-him-and-he's-special. She knows where that above-justice attitude leads.
She knows Tsukino Usagi.
Nonetheless, her voice stays light and airy as she continues to enjoy the sight of his struggle.]
Be good this time, and maybe the homework will like you better!

[ Totally unjustified. ]
It's not my fault the ministry won't admit the truth.
no subject
However, she is no longer nearly as noble as Harry. And she is, perhaps, frustrated.]
Then the consequences will be on their heads. [She should have been in Slytherin, really... but she wasn't always like this.]

How am I supposed to get any of my homework done with detentions that run past my curfew?
no subject
[This time, the words come without judgment. It's simply the easiest reason she can think of for driving out what Harry has to say. Ami's eyes finally seek out all the variously misbehaving papers.]
I'll help get them down, if you want.
no subject
[ He glances back up at this waving essay. ]
Could you? Apparently the summoning charm's not working.
no subject
insufferablesmug smirk comes anyway.]Just let me. [Of course she can! Or at least, she has the ego to say so. Ami takes out her wand, and instead of the summoning charm...
A freezing charm might work. She's best at those anyway, and she's heard they can disable alarms, so why not freeze a bunch of papers? She speaks the word, confidently.]

I am kind of loving these two XD
XD me too
Admit it, he'd be lonely without a pedantic, overly academic friend. XD
H-he would... also he'd be failing everything except... maybe care of magical creatures :/
Hagrid would never fail anyone. Except the idiots bothering the animals. Ok, fine, he would.
Malfoy is probably failing that class
along with his friends.
All Slytherin's get D's
Automatically. XD
They deserve it anyway

Get down here! I still have to write in three inches about the properties of moonstone! [ This only makes the essay laugh at him, and Harry resorts to the summoning charm. ]
Accio Potions Essay! [ Nothing happens and the parchment blows a rather loud raspberry at him and seems to fall over in a fit of giggles. Which is interesting... considering it doesn't have a mouth. The frustrated teenager looks around for a ladder or something but his eyes fall on the Doctor instead. ]
Oh, Hullo...

[ Then he drapes himself into an open chair. Green coat, cowboy hat and all. He folds his hands over his chest with a grin. ]
Hello!

[ Meanwhile, Harry is trying to think up a spell that he can use to get his homework down... He points his wand up at it and- ]
Stupify! [ The spell hits the Chandelier and it sways dangerously. He won't be trying that again. ]
no subject
[ He suddenly hits the floor as the spell goes bouncing, looking up. ] Blimey! You'll take someone's head off with that.
no subject
[ Harry just watches the spell vanish like it's nothing and shrugs sheepishly ]
Er-Actually no-It couldn't. I don't know any dark spells like that-what I used is only a stunning spell.
no subject
[ If one could hear the sound of brakes being smashed? This is what the Doctor's brain would be like. ]
As in Professor Snape? Severus Snape?

But this isn't where she expects to be, so she takes a wild look around before zooming in on Harry and his fight with his essay. It takes a moment to register that the essay itself is...giggling?
Lowering her weapon, she edges closer, completely curious.]
What's with all the books and paper?
[Guess who wasn't too keen on school...ever?]
no subject
....Er.. you wouldn't happen to know how to get it down, would you?
no subject
Crap. Usually that'll get 'em.
[Not essays specifically, but monsters usually aren't smart enough to avoid weapons in her experience. Then again, this isn't a monster.
It's actually just confusing to her.]
Say, how did it get up there anyway?
no subject
I don't know-um.. jumped, maybe? I was trying to find it when it got up there.
no subject
Weird. Even papers can be jerks, huh?
[She shoots a look at him, curious. Paper doesn't usually prance around and mock people where she's from, but she has to admit it's pretty funny. Maybe she can get one for her father and not tell him what it is.]
Whatcha writing an essay on? Wouldn't restarting it be easier? You can just set that thing on fire.
no subject
...It's my potions essay-and it's due in... about an hour.
no subject
Have you tried bribing it?
[What would an essay want, anyway? But hey, bribes work with her!]
no subject
I'm not entirely sure what I could bribe it with.
