003rd Promotion ♛ Tell me your wish
[Today's dream starts with darkness and emptiness, deep and wide, you may not even realize that you're dreaming, or even have a real sense of self and time. For the longest instant in the whole eternity, there's nothing but darkness and void around and inside of you. And then, swirling from the far distance, the tones of the keys of a piano start to reach your ears, drip by drip, coming closer and yet remaining distant at the same time. New instruments join the tune and soon the velvet-like sound of a woman's voice finishes the birth of the song that seems to echo inside of you as much as around you.
And yet, there's still darkness and void despite the music that fills you now. Or is there?]
Welcome, to the Crimson Room.
[A man's voice welcomes you, easily and naturally as if he has been awaiting for you. And it's then that you realize that you most likely had your eyes closed, no wonder you couldn't see anything. Opening them will introduce you to a big and wide room colored in red shades, without doubt this must be the "Crimson Room" you were welcomed to. The music still reaches your ears, however no matter where you look, there's no one playing or singing, the doors are firmly closed and so are the windows that show nothing but a golden mist on the other side of the crystal, so thick that it's simply impossible to see anything of the outside.
You're not alone in the room, though. In the center of it lays a couch that doesn't have anything to envy to the thrones of kings and queens of the past, and sitting on it, is Primo, dressed in a red coat like always, relaxedly and naturally. This is his realm after all. He doesn't look at his guest, though, instead his attention is on a letter he holds in one hand, written on the most white paper you have ever seen, whatever is written on it seems to be done in a mixture of purple and golden ink. And the wizard reads the letter with an amused and interested smile on his lips. When he talks it's hard to tell if it's for his guest or just for himself as he keeps looking at the letter rather than at the person there with him.]
It seems you have just arrived at the perfect time. Right now I've been invited to a simple game of collecting successes in the form of fulfilled wishes. I don't normally use my powers carelessly like this, but I feel in a good mood today so I suppose I may grant you a request if you ask for it.
I'm Primo, the Wizard of Destiny. Don't be fooled by my title, though, I don't settle a destiny, instead I destroy them, it's my specialty. But you don't have to sacrifice your destiny for a wish from me today. Even just a wish for a life supply of cake will suffice, there's nothing I can't do. But I will warn you, nothing comes for free, even if I have no desire for a personal gain, neither will ask for a price, magic requires one to be paid. The greater the wish, the greater the payment you will have to make, it may not be done immediately, though, it might not happen until many years have passed. But it will happen.
So, tell me. What wish would you like me to grant you? Don't be shy, ask anything your heart desires. Just remember to be careful with what you wish.
((ooc: That's right, this is a dream based on this month's theme! But with a twist, instead of Primo's wishes going wrong, he will be granting wishes and at the same time making them go wrong at some point. Feel free to have your char ask the most outrageous things, with both the dream natural magic and Primo's (very real) magic there's nothing impossible!))

[Whether a wish is asked for or not, nothing will change for him.]

I don't believe in that. It isn't that simple. [Not for her.]

What I'm thinking of is whether there's something I want, to ask for that way.
[There are many things she wants, of course. But she doesn't like the idea of having to rely on someone for it at all. She wants to rely on her own skills, her own power.]

It's a decision for me to hold to.

She was never as good at those things to start with.]
However, it doesn't mean there aren't things I want. Things I would like to have, or happen.

[Wishes like that are only waiting for disappointment.]
By relying on someone or something else to do it, it will never happen to begin with.

[Seriously, girl, sometimes he wonders if she even bothers to listen to others at all. Probably not.]

She has no trust to give to make it with.]
You'll have plenty of fools making empty wishes anyway.

It's okay either way. It's not as if I've a personal interest in this.

And then she suddenly understands why she doesn't like it.]
Refusing to do the work and just wishing for the reward instead, is too lazy. [And leads to things she doesn't want to see.]

[For someone who transforms into a magical girl and dreams and talks with people of other worlds, that is. Or maybe she's just too stubborn in keeping her eyes closed at everything but herself. Too terrified to open her eyes and see that she's wrong? Primo doesn't care either way, let others fight those useless battles, he knows already that she's a pretty unique existence.
Unfortunately for her, probably.]

Flying through the sky with an airplane? Sailing the seas to find another route to a continent? Being able to remain warm even in the hardest winter and have light to see even in the darkest hour of the night? ... Women with the right to vote, have an opinion or a job that isn't in the kitchen cooking for their family? If some people didn't dream and got carried by that romance, if they didn't make wishes despite how impossible they were even after they failed and crashed down... Many worlds would have never gone past humans living in caves like animals.
[Hers included. However despite his words, it's pretty clear that Primo doesn't care if she keeps having such stupid thoughts. And he has no plans of discussing about it any further, not when she's just refusing to properly think.]

[And that's what she objects to, that empty 'something will work out' 'something will save', that naive hope.
Nothing ever saved her.]
