003rd Promotion ♛ Tell me your wish
[Today's dream starts with darkness and emptiness, deep and wide, you may not even realize that you're dreaming, or even have a real sense of self and time. For the longest instant in the whole eternity, there's nothing but darkness and void around and inside of you. And then, swirling from the far distance, the tones of the keys of a piano start to reach your ears, drip by drip, coming closer and yet remaining distant at the same time. New instruments join the tune and soon the velvet-like sound of a woman's voice finishes the birth of the song that seems to echo inside of you as much as around you.
And yet, there's still darkness and void despite the music that fills you now. Or is there?]
Welcome, to the Crimson Room.
[A man's voice welcomes you, easily and naturally as if he has been awaiting for you. And it's then that you realize that you most likely had your eyes closed, no wonder you couldn't see anything. Opening them will introduce you to a big and wide room colored in red shades, without doubt this must be the "Crimson Room" you were welcomed to. The music still reaches your ears, however no matter where you look, there's no one playing or singing, the doors are firmly closed and so are the windows that show nothing but a golden mist on the other side of the crystal, so thick that it's simply impossible to see anything of the outside.
You're not alone in the room, though. In the center of it lays a couch that doesn't have anything to envy to the thrones of kings and queens of the past, and sitting on it, is Primo, dressed in a red coat like always, relaxedly and naturally. This is his realm after all. He doesn't look at his guest, though, instead his attention is on a letter he holds in one hand, written on the most white paper you have ever seen, whatever is written on it seems to be done in a mixture of purple and golden ink. And the wizard reads the letter with an amused and interested smile on his lips. When he talks it's hard to tell if it's for his guest or just for himself as he keeps looking at the letter rather than at the person there with him.]
It seems you have just arrived at the perfect time. Right now I've been invited to a simple game of collecting successes in the form of fulfilled wishes. I don't normally use my powers carelessly like this, but I feel in a good mood today so I suppose I may grant you a request if you ask for it.
I'm Primo, the Wizard of Destiny. Don't be fooled by my title, though, I don't settle a destiny, instead I destroy them, it's my specialty. But you don't have to sacrifice your destiny for a wish from me today. Even just a wish for a life supply of cake will suffice, there's nothing I can't do. But I will warn you, nothing comes for free, even if I have no desire for a personal gain, neither will ask for a price, magic requires one to be paid. The greater the wish, the greater the payment you will have to make, it may not be done immediately, though, it might not happen until many years have passed. But it will happen.
So, tell me. What wish would you like me to grant you? Don't be shy, ask anything your heart desires. Just remember to be careful with what you wish.
((ooc: That's right, this is a dream based on this month's theme! But with a twist, instead of Primo's wishes going wrong, he will be granting wishes and at the same time making them go wrong at some point. Feel free to have your char ask the most outrageous things, with both the dream natural magic and Primo's (very real) magic there's nothing impossible!))

A wish?
[Mercury - in a place like this, of course it's Mercury - is wary and guarded. She knows the wishes granted by Yuuko: a fair price, equal exchange. She hears Primo's warnings now. It's similar.
She's not sure she trusts it.]
Just what are you doing this for?
no subject
[Whether a wish is asked for or not, nothing will change for him.]

I don't believe in that. It isn't that simple. [Not for her.]

What I'm thinking of is whether there's something I want, to ask for that way.
[There are many things she wants, of course. But she doesn't like the idea of having to rely on someone for it at all. She wants to rely on her own skills, her own power.]

... You sure set up some kind of big show here. [ It's a little deadpan, but not unfeeling at all. She's glad to see him, after all, so there's a little contentness in her words. ]
no subject
I don't know what you're talking about, Ange-chan.
no subject
So you're saying you just wanted to see me here to have me make a wish, 'oh mighty wizard'?
no subject
[The tone changes suddenly at the next part, leaving aside the "mighty wizard" tone to have a more human one. One more usual and familiar.]
Like my bedroom. Hopefully with a maid costume involved somewhere in the formula.

It takes a few moments and a shake of the head to throw off the surprise so she's at least able to properly reply. ]
no subject
[ It's deadpan, but not really annoyed - more a slightly tsun side immediately kicking in. ]
no subject
[At least he's joking... Right?]
no subject
Does this mean that if I would have wished for something you would have taken my clothes as payment? [ It's difficult to tell whether she's joking or not too though, but that's more because of her tone.. ]
no subject
I'm your boyfriend, or that's what I think we should be now at the very least, as such I would like to think that I don't need to use tricks and cheats to have my girlfriend take the next step with me whenever I decide I want to consider it.
Wishes don't work that way, at least not the ones I concede. I have no interest in gaining anything from others' wishes. I have my own wishes to fulfill unlike others, the price for the wish will be decided my magic itself, no rules, no boundaries. Because of that you can ask for anything you want and you'll get it, but the price will be equal to the wish... Right now, if you wished for it, I would defy Bernkastel in every form of her existence and fulfill your wish to be with your family... But knowing the circumstances, it would be with you being a kid again and going to the reunion with everyone else and dying, or have them all survive only for you all to be killed later on or lead an even sadder life than what you would have ever had or imagined. Not to mention it would most likely erase your memories of me even in dreams.
no subject
At the next part she gets silent for a bit, as if she's thinking about what he's telling her. ]
Yeah, that's why I don't want to make a wish like that. Even if it's you granting it. [ He doesn't exactly decide the price either way. ] No matter if I wish for that, it'll probably just end badly.. it's better to just not trust wishes that come with a price like that.
[ She takes a few steps towards the couch - towards him. ]
And I definitely don't want to forget about you. Not for anything.
no subject
[But it's a fact that she made that wish once, didn't she? Or a similar one at least. And even now she's still making wishes about it. On the other hand, though, those wishes allowed them to meet before and allowed him to exist. Without her he would have been very different even if still a wizard.
He raises a hand, stretching it towards her, inviting her to take it.]
I wouldn't allow you to forget me anyway. Not after I found you already and got this far.
no subject
[ She takes the hand practically without much hesitation or thought about it, almost more as if out of instinct. She only can see him during these moments, after all, in dreams, so for as long as it lasts she would like to be as close to him as possible.
There's a small smile on her face. ]
So.. don't worry. I won't forget about you. If some sort of magic would make me, I'd fight it as much as I could.
no subject
That's reassuring. But given that not even returning from Luceti made you forget about me I suppose there's no need to worry about that.
