☆ she dreams of the bright lights 005;
The first thing that hits you once you step into this dream scape is the sun shining almost directly into your eye. But, once the glare settles, the sight to behold is nothing other than a high school decorated very brightly with food and game booths, students in costumes, balloons and the chatter of happy folks that wander around the school grounds.
Welcome to Juuban High School's Cultural Festival.
If the main courtyard doesn't suit your fancy, the inside of the school has even more choices to choose from. There are classes that are designed for cafes with all sorts of different foods. Some have been shaped to be haunted houses -- others have fortune telling booths or perhaps they're displaying and selling different knick knacks the class has voted to sell.
In the stage area there are different performances every hour; the theater club is performing the play they've been working real hard on. There may be a fashion show from the fashion club and the music club might be putting on a concert for the student body!
... but might you be wondering where the dreamer of this elaborate setting is?
Usagi Tsukino is in her school uniform. She's partaking in the festivities as a member of the festival commitie as the red arm band around her left arm states. She's running around the festival helping out with different classes and booths by making sure everything is going as smoothly as it can... fact of the matter is that she's all over the school doing what she can.
Where ever you find her, she's sporting a large pair of bunny ears which also has a small sign promoting her class and their store. (Hey, she has to support her class somehow.)
(ooc: A not!event'd Usagi and her dream. If you feel like having an october event'd character comment, I'm totally down with that. Other wise, have fun! \o\)

And the way heads turn to look at her. She likes that.
Ami keeps going through the halls, nodding to a few of the people, quite pleased with herself to all appearances.
Then the screaming starts. It comes from behind her, from the direction of a room set up as a haunted house. They're screams of true terror, not silly students playing at being scared. Ami's smile spreads maliciously.
In that room are quite a few very live and very dangerous youma.]

She hasn't decided on a focus for her desire for mayhem yet, having recently arrived in this dream she considers to be quite boring. For now, she's idly destroying decorations. Having a high powered electrical weapon is great for that. It's also a fire hazard, but Reno's not too concerned.
When she hears the screaming, she turns, her interest piqued. When she sees Ami, a smile spreads across her face as well, with a maliciousness similar to Ami's own.]
Hey.
Looks like you're having fun. Sounds like it, too.

But this is a school festival, and more, it's Usagi's school festival, and the panic this will unleash will force Usagi to come to her, one way or another. Her grin only broadens more when she spots Reno.
They can have fun with this together.]
I thought the festival should be properly exciting. [She manages to say the most correct things in the worst ways.]
no subject
Yeah, it's boring, right? Kid stuff. [She's ignoring the fact that of course a school would cater to children.] They ought to have--I don't know, something better to do. [She lights a cigar and starts to smoke.] A firing range, maybe? [At this, a gun appears in her hand, and she looks down at it approvingly, though she slips it into a shoulder holster that has also appeared.]
[She nods toward where the screams are coming from.] So what'd you do in there?
no subject
There are monsters in that room. After all, it's supposed to be haunted.
It should have something truly scary, don't you think?
no subject
Monsters, huh? [She's not crazy about monsters killing people in the middle of Edge, but monsters somewhere like this--a dream that isn't hers--yeah, that's okay by Reno. She's not the one having to deal with them.] I like the way you think, Doctor. Who doesn't like a good scare? You're doing all these kids a favor.
Now, how can we liven up this party some more...? [She pauses to think a moment, eying the smoking decorations she's had her way with, ignoring the stares of the once-happy festival attendees who are now becoming much less happy and much more wary.]
no subject
How did she go so long forgetting this feeling? All those times people told her that dreams meant she could leave things behind, why didn't she realize it meant she could leave behind all the efforts getting her nowhere?
Well she's here now, ready to be who she truly is.
She'll make them come to her.]
Do what you wish. However, before you say my monsters aren't enough, want to try one? [She smirks.]
[Feel free to tag in, Usagi!]
It's just that when it comes to excitement, you can never have enough. [With that, Reno tosses her cigar with a flourish into a wastebasket farther down the hall. It's a far distance, but her aim is good, and the lit cigar falls down into the trash. It doesn't take long for the expected to happen. Smoke and then flames rise from the basket. The fire alarm shortly starts ringing, and the sprinklers turn on, spraying and panicking the attendees.]
/s-sob. This was supposed to be a family friendly place ;A; j/k
Her first priority is to get the NPC attendees out of that part of the building, but once she's done, she rounds the corner uncaring if her uniform and her hair and other things are drenched! ]
What's going on here?!
no subject
I brought a friend to see the festival! It's become very exciting, hasn't it?
no subject
Going on? Nothing, why? [She nods toward Ami.] Yeah, we're just hanging out, having a good time.

Usagi steps out from one of the food stands, back turned to the Doctor as she answers one of the stall workers who's working their shaved ice stand. "Just make sure you make me an orange and grape one!"
With a grin, she finally turns, hoping to make a quick rush to where all the ice is being stored. But, she notices almost too late that she's about to run into that familiar green jacket and practically trips over herself so she doesn't end up plowing him to the ground.
"ACK!"

Still, she wandered around to try and figure out what to do. She'd been to festivals before. But not like this.]

With her arm band off and shoved loosely in her skirt pocket, she's munching on a chocolate covered banana idly until she notices someone looking a bit out of place.
That won't do. That just won't do at all! So Usagi makes her way on over to the other girl to help with whatever she can. ]
Hello! Are you okay? You look a little lost.
no subject
Hello.
[She regained her composure as soon as she lost it. Dreams. Genesis didn't like how unguarded she felt within them but she suppose it couldn't hurt to act like she was suppose to be the teenager she looked..]
Well, that's because I am. I come from another school and was separated from my friends. We don't have festivals, so I'm afraid I've a bit lost as to what to do here.
[Not that there were others here with the same uniform she wore. She could still continue the farce and say she was left behind.]
no subject
Well, let me be the first to welcome you to Juuban High School's Cultural Festival!
[ Finishing off her chocolate banana, Usagi holds out her hand with a huge and bright smile on her face. ] If you want, we can hang out together until you find your friends! This place is pretty easy to get lost in if you don't know you're way! It's happened to me a few times!
[ Her face turns light pink around the cheeks while she laughs at herself. ]
no subject
Thank you. I'm from... [Pause. Should she really go as far as to name a school?] Banora.
[Well, it wasn't a lie. She really was from Banora.]
It's been a few hours, they are probably gone by now. It's alright. Can you tell me more about this Cultural Festival?
no subject
[ She's somewhat stunned and appalled that anyone would do that and it's written all over her face. With a small huff, she turns to look at the rest of the festival with all its bright colors and flashy signs. ]
Basically, it's a festival where all the classes and all the clubs do something that has to do with our culture! Lots of classes do cafes, or haunted houses. Some have shops that they make really adorable or really awesome stuff to buy!
[ Her eyes sweep around the hallway until they finally find something of interest. ]
Like over there! That's a stuffed animal cafe! Not only do they sell some really good sweets, they also sell the stuffed animals that people made!
no subject
[It wasn't like they were there to begin with. She followed her gaze, listening.]
And... what are all these cultures? I'm... not from here, you could say.
[There was no use hiding it now.]
Stuffed animal cafe? That sounds like something for children to attend, not teenagers and adults.
