oo1。 watching, waiting for something
[ A city seemingly consumed by shadows, sparse light only provided from empty buildings and the occasional street lamp, unless one counts the neon lights that line some of the edges of said empty buildings. There are some piles of rubble, blocking a number of the streets and the only way around them is through the alleyways that contain even darker shadows that than the whole city itself. The sole reason for the shadows overtaking the city- a bright moon in the shape of a heart lighting the sky, partially blocked by a towering skyscraper that seems to be in the center of the city, shining like some sort of beacon for all to head towards.
And at the base of it stands a lone person dressed in a black coat with their hood drawn, not moving for the moment.
Perhaps the reason for said coat is the block out the rain that's falling, a harsh wind blowing once in awhile in tandem with the thoughts going through said person's mind. Or perhaps it holds another purpose. Whatever the reason, he doesn't seem to be moving from his spot anytime soon, gaze turned upward to the sky and possibly looking at the heart shaped moon. Or maybe the castle that can be barely seen at this vantage point.
But if one could see into his thoughts, questions whirl in almost chaos, unrest there as he tries to piece a puzzle together despite all the pieces not being there. Fragments are missing and he can only do so much before needing to go off and find the rest of them. But will this place offer said answers?
Why?
What's going on?
How did it get to be like this?
Where's Sora?
He doesn't know but he's hoping that it will.
Because he's tired of not knowing, of being left in the dark. He wants to know and he won't stop until he figures everything out.
First step is always the hardest though. ]

[ It's weird how familiar he feels around Axel, despite what happened between them in Twilight Town (the fake one) right before he meets the sleeping Sora and then suddenly finding himself here in this place. This supposed dream world. He's still not too sure about that part.
Actually, he's still not sure about a lot of things.
Those memories that he thought were real, were his to keep aren't actually real, figments of an imagination that isn't even his, made up to make him believe that he'd been just a normal guy. Just a normal kid in a quiet town with three best friends who stuck by him since the beginning. But there hadn't been any beginning nor were they even real, the memories fake to keep him in one place, while his actual memories blocked away so that he wouldn't know the truth. At least not until the time had been right.
Had that been the right time then? If it is, then it doesn't feel like it. He still doesn't remember everything after all, not even everything he and Axel did, despite his knowing that they had been best friends. And sometimes just knowing isn't enough.
So, are they still best friends? ]
Um- [ A pause, slight awkwardness settling in as he tries to figure out what to say now. ]
I guess.. we got to meet again, huh.
[ Roxas doesn't know if Axel remembers that promise, but. This will tell him if the other does. If this it the same Axel he barely remembers but does know. ]
fhweuif sob oh roxas ;A;
...Yeah.
[It just- doesn't sound like something the Roxas he's seen in dreams before would say.
Granted, not a lot of his dreams have made sense to him, or even featured a Roxas that he could easily hold a conversation like this with. But- they've met before, already.]
Are you- you're not him, are you? The same Roxas who's usually here.
[He has the sinking feeling things are about to get even more confusing.]
alskdjf just realizing my html fail orz
He hesitates in answering, wondering how much of a difference it'll make. ]
..No. He's- [ another pause ] I don't know who he is, but.
[ There are similarities, obvious similarities. Looks and names, almost everything about them is the same. But he knows there are differences; there's a certain light in the other's eyes, something that says the other hasn't gone through exactly the same things that he has. That the other Roxas is accepted while he isn't.
His eyes narrow slightly at the thought. ] He's not me.
[ No matter what anyone says, there will only be one him. ]
