[008 ☿] Cliff-Diving

[There's a gorgeous view from up here: a rocky cliff face overlooking the sea. The breeze plays with her hair as Ami waits at the very highest point, right on the edge. She looks down, an angle likely to give vertigo but she only grins broader.

She's going to jump.

She lets go, and her body suddenly looks so small against the backdrop of open sky as she plummets towards the water and sinks beneath the waves. The movement is a thrilling rush and the moment she's immersed, she smiles. She lets herself stay there, savoring the feeling, and she rises to the surface only reluctantly and belatedly.]

(ooc: not necessarily theme, but I'm open to theme antics as well if anyone wanted to catch her here for them; let me know)

Ami needs them, too.]

[She's not strong, Ami. Not yet--maybe not ever. She's spoiled rotten.]

[Yui pushes to her feet and starts heading towards the incline.]

Planning to dive this time? [Light and almost coy, the invitation is a challenge.]

[Her pace doesn't change and she looks almost as carefree as Ami does, except that she honestly has no idea what she's going to do.]

[Ami, however, certainly plans to dive. She approaches the peak with no fear, but excitement instead. She takes her place.]

[Yui comes up behind her.]

Are you going to go first or should I?

I'll go of course. [She tosses her head, and heads straight to the edge, where she jumps again as if it doesn't even matter how high this is, what she's jumping into.]

[Yui sucks in a breath and watches her fall, toes curling around the edge of the cliff.]

[To add insult to the chance of injury, Ami hits the water quite gracefully, slipping beneath the waves until she surfaces again quite easily. She waves up at Yui.]

[Ha ha ha, so funny, Ami. Yui, with a deep breath, jumps off the ledge--curling into a ball. When she hits the water with a sting, it sends up a huge splash. She moves her limbs in the water quickly to banish the stinging and breaks the surface, gasping.]

[It splashes Ami, which doesn't seem to upset her too much.]
