[This is neither the red planet nor the vast imperial city that she’s previously been seen in. It’s a simple clearing that leads to a cliff. It allows a nice view of the ocean, which strangely enough has absolutely no movement. No tide, no crashing waves against the rocks. Nothing. And for the curious wanderer they can go through the thicket of trees a bit further back but no matter what direction they go it’ll always lead to the same cliff. On the edge of it, overlooking the vast and unmoving waters is Seth, who seems just as unmoving as the rest of the dream. Her eyes are shut and an attentive eye will note two things. She doesn’t appear to be breathing at all(not that it was needed in dreams any ways) and there’s a scar that encircles her neck. And despite the presence of another person in the dream she still doesn’t move. Nothing moves. Everything is perfectly still and silent.

And when a few more minutes pass she finally sighs softly. With her peace interrupted there is no more point in pretending she doesn't know that there’s someone in the area.]

You know, this really isn’t a place fit for others. [And while that statement would normally be a bit teasing or harsh sounding that’s not so. It’s spoken softly and followed by a quiet laugh. After the laugh she finally turns her attention away from the ocean scenery.]

It might be a good idea to focus on your home. You probably don't want to stay here.

I've been extremely busy with laying the foundations for a new Replica sanctuary, but that work is beginning to bear fruit. I have a bit of spare time to talk with an old friend.

[Anyway, you don't get a scar like that for simple horseplay. Anything that severe is more than likely to be lethal. And there's at least one person he knows of that's capable of hurting a Crusnik host like that.]

[A sigh. There goes the chance of avoiding the subject entirely. So much for that hope.]

In older times humans thought some people lingered on even after they died because they have unfinished business or because of regrets. Generally all unpleasant reasoning. Personally I just like the view better.

I suppose it is an improvement over Hell.

[He takes a moment to adjust his glasses. This is... quite a bit to take in.]

Is this also where the living reconcile with the dead?

If it was then I would expect a great many more visitors. ...Jade you are here of your own accord with whatever reason or motivation you have. If it was to reconcile something you would know that. Not me.

[Jade grows unusually silent for a moment, thinking this through. He isn't dead; he doesn't fully understand how he knows that, since he can't feel his own breath or heartbeat, but he isn't. Seth is, and it's highly likely that she was killed by Cain. Based on past experiences, he should at least feel a bit upset and possibly angry, but there's nothing. If he isn't grieving as he understands grief, why did he come to her?]

I... I came here to say farewell.

[She looks down for a moment, trying to hide the surprise. Of course it had been some time since her death and not once had anyone bothered her. Neither the living or the dead, those she killed or those she saved. Death had quiet. Lonely on a smaller scale. She lived alone though so to her it only made sense. When she lifts her head and looks at him it's with the the faintest of smiles.]

I'm glad. You've been...well you've been nosy jerk and I should have hit you the first time I saw you. But you didn't try and kill me or outcast me for being inhuman. That's- actually that's not important now. What I mean to say is thanks.
