[ It's an unfamiliar site that you find yourself in tonight. An impossible room with different colors and glass floors, staircases that seem to go nowhere. At the center of the room is a column made of glass with panels filled with nonsense items: a typewriter, levers, hot and cold handles, even a phone! There's even a monitor hanging from the ceiling next to the man dressed in a tweet jacket and a bowtie. ]

No, this is definitely not the Eye of Orion... it doesn't make any sense! You're giving me nonsense, old girl, absolute babble! I know that the transfer might of been a bit confusing and backwards for you, but, no data whatsoever? What sort of nasty thing have you got in your time rotor this time?

[ Suddenly the man stops and turns and looks at you. He glances to the sides, shifting slightly, his hands flexing into small fists as he steps towards the edge of the glass ramp. ]

How did you get in here? No one can just walk into the TARDIS.

[ Weeeeird noises. But, she's brushes it off as space ship time travel noises and is none the wiser. Now, to find the exit of the TARDIS ... ah! There's the door! Walking excitedly towards it now, but, she pauses before opening. ]

It's okay to look outside, right?

[ The Doctor skids up behind her and motions for her to open the doors. Outside is Starship Japan, which rather looks like Starship UK, except, well more Japan like. Even if it resembles downtown Tokyo more than the country side. ]

[ Opening up the door and peeking outside! It really did look a lot like Tokyo! With eyes shining, she rushes through the doorway and sort of spins in place as she takes in everything! ]

... Wow! We're really in space?!

[ Tilting her head back... faaaar back to see the stars. Yep. There they were! Twinkling in the dark. For a moment, she's still -- the stars always remind her of that moment -- but then she turns back to face the Doctor. ]

[ Shuffling quickly to the big blue box, she pokes and pokes at it... circles around it twice until she finally stops at the door. ]

Did we really just walk out of this?!

[ Oh, who was she kidding. She could ask about the ship later. Honestly, who had a chance to explore a spaceship for a whole NATION? ]

Right, so! As I was saying. [ The Doctor walks on, checking his wrist watch. ] 29th Century. Earth is hit with solar flares so humanity packs up and heads to the stars. Eventually they all settle on New Earth, or go back to Earth farther in the future. But, thousands live their entire lives on these ships.

[ She's following along side him, eating up his words like they were candy. There's a small pause in her step when he mentions the date, but she rationalizes that of course things would be different, and resumes walking. ]

Is New Earth very far from the original Earth?

Yes. Very, very far. Humanity ends up spread out over the entire universe and makes all sorts of subspecies.

[ She's SO glad that she's older and studies more than she used to. She has an odd feeling that she might be hearing some pretty fantastic words from the Doctor in the very near future. ]

Right then! They should have some sort of food resembling what you are used to. Probably not real fish though... given, you know, space. The noodles, though, should be perfectly fine.
