[003 ☿] Amusement Park Outing!
Tinny carnival music and excited chatter fill the air along with the mechanical creaking of the typical assortment of rides.
The Juuban amusement park. How many times has she been here? Familiarity doesn't seem to dampen Ami's enthusiasm, even now that she's older. It's a place tied to her subconscious - clearly, as here it is in her dream, and she'd even tried building it with Ariadne once. She smiles brightly, and goes from one entertainment to the next like a child again.
An older couple, their hands joined and both of them clearly very much in love, are never far from sight. They bear a familial resemblance to the young doctor: her parents, never divorced. A whole and loving family, forever. A young girl, almost the very picture of Ami herself, walks with them and calls them Grandma and Grandpa.
"Father has many things to attend to today, but he'll meet us here in an hour," Ami assures her daughter when she has a moment between rides and game booths. A family tradition, she could call it now. She likes that thought. "He always keeps his promises, doesn't he?" Her reward is a broad smile and a nod before the little girl runs off again. Ami, too, seems to trust this promise from her husband as she straightens to her full height and smiles quietly to herself.
(ooc: Anyone who comes isbegged welcome to be her dear friend, as her ~perfect dream~ would definitely involve having a lot of friendships. Short version of dream changes: her parents never divorced, she is now married with children and a happy family life herself. She still has success in a rewarding medical career.)

You know, I didn't even know you were married.

It's surprising it never came up. [She says this cheerfully enough, because the dream works nicely to smooth over the confusion of why her amazing and dear friend doesn't know that not-so-little fact.]
Ah! Since we've come this far together, do you want to try some of the rides?
no subject
Sure. So long as Mr. Ami and the family don't mind. [He gives them a vague wave. Hi. How are you. No, he's not flirting with your very married and be-childed daughter.]
no subject
Attention is attention.]It's alright! It's just a roller coaster. They wanted to take a break and have some cotton candy.

That thing is a mountain. And it doesn't look as sturdy as it should be for the cart whizzing around its track. The people on it are screaming. That's usually not a good sign.]
no subject
Staaaare.
...Cough.]
...I'm sorry. You're going to get on that... willingly?
[It looks like something you get forced on by really innovative thugs.]

You're kidding, right?
no subject
Do you want to try the roller coaster instead? [Or he could totally go win her a stuffed animal.]
no subject
How do you even....
[Sigh. Welp. This wasn't the weirdest thing that had ever happened to him. Might as well go with it.]
Let's do the roller coaster first.
no subject
But after that, I'll beat you at the game of your choice, Ok?

Hey, Ami! I didn't think I'd see you here. I'd have bought you a bag of cotton candy if I did!
no subject
Something like that, at least, for now. Ami smiles brightly and waves.]
I'm here with all the family. They'd eat it quickly.

[The impish grin on her face, however, says that yes, feel free to steal my cotton candy because I can still buy another.]

If you're that hungry, there are other foods to try still.

Blue like the sky above the amusement park, in fact.
Aerith has one arm linked around the figure as she walks happily with him, the other hugging a large white animal plush. But when she sees Ami she taps his arm and quickly explains, leaving him to wait and carry the plush as she laughs and runs off -- though she gives him a quick kiss for the trouble. ]
Ami!
Ohai! <3 Welcome welcome!
[If her smile is a bit too bright; that seems to be just how she is these days, overcompensating.]

It was a surprise for me too. I got asked out all of a sudden ... [ She half-turns back to her date, sneaking a glance. ]

How are you doing? I see everyone's here!
no subject
For us, it's a family outing. [And somehow a lot of her friends are here today, too. This just makes it even better, of course.] We had some rare time off.
