[This time, Sora's dream takes place on an island. But something seems off about it. It practically oozes life, and yet, no one besides the boy is here. And he sits there, knees hugged to his chest at the base of a tree that grows out over the water. As opposed to his first dream, where he seemed to border on hostile, Sora now seems almost... Lonely and sad.
And perhaps adding to that is that the islands seem to almost flicker every now and then, between the beautiful place full of life and a desolate and destroyed landscape floating in an endless voice of darkness.]
[[OOC: Sora's beginning to feel a ton of regret for his actions on the real Islands. If you manage to get him to open up, expect him to rant and question! Have fun with the flickering islands!]]

Until he sees someone just ahead of him. Staying alert, as he walks up closer, he notes that it's a kid. And one that looks anything but happy, at that. If he'd been a kid in a place like this, sitting staring out at the horizon would be.... exactly what he'd be doing, too. ] -- Hey, you okay?

[There's a bitter edge to his voice, though. And definitely a lot of doubt. He hugs his knees to his chest tighter, trying to ignore Peter's presence. ...Trying and failing.]

[ Peter knows that tone all to well. Part of him has to wonder how long the kid's going to be willing to let him stand there before he's snapped at and actually told to go away. So he sticks his hands in his pockets and waits. ]
no subject
[But Sora doesn't tell him to leave. He just sits there. After all, Peter's not hurting anything, and even if he does believe Peter's a figment of his imagination, he's had no one to talk to for years.]
...Who are you, anyway?
no subject
I'm Peter.
no subject
[...Doesn't know anyone, really, but, hey, it could be worse.]
...I'm Sora.
[That's how introductions go, right?]
no subject
Do you live here?
no subject
[He looks out at the ocean still, watching it flicker in and out.]
...I used to live here. A long time ago.

Ami does not interrupt Sora at first. She stands nearby, arms folded at her chest. Even when she finally steps closer, right into his line of sight, she does not speak immediately.]
no subject
...It's you again.
no subject
You're alone here.
no subject
[This isn't news to him, that he's alone. But perhaps that's why he's here, and why this place is flickering. He can't really decide if he wants to be alone or not. And this place... He's not sure if he hates it.]
no subject
Is that why you came out here?
no subject
[...He really doesn't want to talk about why Dad took him in. That's a bit too painful right now.]
no subject
[She's only admitting this because it gives them that similarity to work from.]
So, I sort of understand being drawn here.

[But the world keeps shuddering, back and forth between beauty and ruin, and it makes Roxas anxious. Makes him think that maybe there's something wrong...]
[The Sora he comes across simply confirms this. He doesn't-]
...Hey.
[Feel right. And yet Roxas sits beside him anyway, staring out at the ocean. Maybe Sora's got something on his mind to share.]
no subject
...Who're you?
no subject
[It's a good idea to be cautious himself, even if he is hopelessly curious. He gives this Sora- maybe its a particular shade of him?- a small, but encouraging smile.]
I'm Roxas.
I like your islands- they're really nice.
no subject
...They're not mine. I haven't lived here since I was five.
[Though Roxas... He seems almost familiar. Something in his chest tightens for a brief moment.]
no subject
Well they're nice anyway... do you like it here?
[Its unsettling that his chest flutters for a brief second; like there's a connection between them, too. Figures.]
dun dun DUNNNN
Hey- Do you know what's... [He falters when he nears, realizing the eerie resemblance between them even from behind. This guy's hair is kinda like his. He's also got his red jumpsuit. And his jacket. Even his shoes. Given, they're darker in tone, but they're fundamentally the same.] ... going on...
HEEEE.
[Another flicker. He doesn't seem to notice that the voice is similar to his own, and he doesn't care. He just sits there, hugging knees to chest.]
you dastardly villain!
[He's just a bundle of confusion, other Sora.]
What are you talking about?
YOU LOVE ME.
...................... yeahokayfinemaybeido
This is my home. I live here.
Why would you even do something like that?
