004th Promotion ♛ Tell me a fairytale
[Childish laughter echoes in the halls of a palace made of red crystal, gold and white marble. Children's voices sing songs about a beautiful princess who was skinned as her guts got ripped out before her soul burned in eternal flames forever as the demons devoured what was left of her body. Questionable lyrics aside, the children are clearly having a great time and everything is nothing but merry laughters and cries.
Until a vase finds its way to the floor, for you see, even in the world of wizards and witches, beyond conscience and dreams, things can get broken.]
Ipos!! Belial!! What did I tell you about playing in the halls?!
[Primo'se voice resonates through the palace like an ominous thunder and the kids, one with bright red hair and purple eyes and the other with green hair and red eyes, both cringe at the sound. It's known by everyone in the demon world and beyond that there's little that actually angers Primo, but when he's angered he's a being to fear. His mercy is huge, but not infinite and he makes no distinction between kids and adults.]
But we were bored of playing in the games room! We wanted to play with you.
Yeah, you were the one who said the other day that you would play with us if we did what you asked us to do. And we did it!
That's right, it was a promise, a promise. Fulfill it or swallow a thousand of needles!!
If it wasn't because for you the part of swallowing needles isn't just a figure of speech I would be amazed that two demon princes care for a promise.
[Primo sounds still angry and greatly bored, but eventually he shrugs and turns around, starting to head to one of the many rooms of the palace. The kids following him even before he talks.]
Fine, I promised. Come with me and I'll tell you a fairytale, okay?
A fairytale? We already know them all from the start to the end and from the end to the start!
There's nothing new you can tell us!
I wouldn't be so sure.
[Primo smirks evilly, despite the kids taunts they still follow him and soon the three of them are sitting in a huge living room. Raising a hand, Primo summons a crystal shard that floats and twirls in the air, floating above his palm. On each side of the shard, images are displayed as if showing what happened inside.]
Now, listen with attention, I don't feel like repeating myself. Once upon a time...
[OOC: Here's the deal! This is a fairytale wreaking post. Your characters will be dragged in dreams to the fairytale that Primo will tell the kids. In other words, you tag here and Primo will start to narrate a tale where your character is the main character... And he will wreck it wonderfully to please the kids. Your characters can fight the influence of Primo's narrative but more often than not they will have to go along with it if they want to get out of the fairytale and return to their own dreams.
Feel free to argue back with Primo and the kids (but don't expect much from the kids, they won't be happy until someone's guts are ripped off) to try to reach an agreement ICly so your character doesn't have to go through a terrible fairytale. Also feel free to threadjack to your hearts content, Primo will just adapt the narrative if more characters appear and he isn't above attracting your character again to another fairytale after they escaped from one. Also each thread will be a different fairytale, but you can make requests if you want to!]

All the while, the knight seems in high spirits, setting about her new adventure to carry her throughout distant lands.]

Once upon a time, there was a valiant and honorable knight in a distant kingdom. The knight was admired and respected by everyone there, for she was the strongest knight of the king and the most loyal as well. And the knight adored her kingdom in exchange, still, the knight had an adventurous spirit and one day she got tired with the peaceful life at the court, for they had defeated all the enemies who had tried to invade them already.
Without shame or hesitance, she proclaimed her wish to leave to the king, and soon she set off for the world beyond the castle's walls and beyond the frontiers of her kingdom. Confident in her skills and power, the knight traveled far away, never looking back. She crossed the freezing mountains, fighting against the elements as wind and ice tried to subdue her with all their power and rage.
[tl;dr have a powerful blizzard while crossing a dangerous mountain path. Try not to slip.]

Strange.
Worse, the horse was having much more trouble than she was in keeping its footing on the ice, but slowing down meant being driven back by the winds. She made sluggish progress. Nonetheless, she trudged on bravely.]

The knight didn't give up though, she was too proud and valiant to give up to just the elements. Slowly but surely she trudged on bravely! Confident in her good star and her loyal horse, she kept advancing on and on.
But suddenly, her horse lost foot in the dangerous mountain path and slipped, falling and twisting its leg badly.
[Hopefully she won't fall with the animal... Or they can both fall down the mountain, he didn't specify how they fell after all.]

At least she lands without being crushed, and rolls away from the injured horse, which kicks its legs, save for the hurt one, against the air as it tries to right itself.]

Once upon a time, there was a lonely princess who lived in a lonely kingdom. She was the only habitant of her kingdom, as everyone else has moved away, crossing the large river that separated the kingdom from the rest of the world. Everyone had moved on and forgot about her, so she had been left behind and alone, as she looking longingly at the horizon by the shores of the river, wondering why she had been forgotten, why only she, the princess, was the one to be left behind.
[You can start wondering whenever you want.]

But it would be leaving behind this place, where she's meant to be.]

But she couldn't leave. For she was the princess of the kingdom. A princess can't be anything else and she can't be even a princess without a kingdom. Neither can a kingdom be anything else and it can only be a kingdom so long as it has a princess. The kingdom belonged to her just as much as she belonged to her kingdom. And so the lonely days continued on and on...
Until the circus arrived to the kingdom.
[Have a big circus at the plaza of your kingdom now, enjoy.]
A circus??
A circus.
With clowns and jugglers. And acrobats?
Yes.
With elephants and tigers?
Yes, yes.
With tentacle monsters?
What kind of... Forget it, yes, with tentacle monsters too. Will you let me continue with the story?
[Well, now you know what is there to see. Don't get too close to the tentacle monsters.]

She'd never even heard rumors of the Dead Moon Circus, and didn't even think of them. Instead, she attacked the only way she had at her disposal.
"Galactica Myosotis Alpestris!"

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who had everything in the world. She had two loving parents and a loving brother, she had aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her, a grandfather than adored her and lots and lots of servants that fulfilled her minimal demand.
She lived in a small village, lost in the woods, where her family was the biggest clan of the area and all the villagers respected them. They were second only to the priest's family who took care of the temple, and their mansion was rivaled by no one. The girl lived her live peacefully and fill with happiness and with time she grew into a beautiful young lady, with suitors coming in and out to court her every day.
[It seems almost as if he's mocking her and that dream she had where she didn't know him. Still it's not a bad start, is it? Enjoy having your life rewritten.]

What..? [ That voice-- she can hear a voice too, right? But where is it coming from, clearly not from anywhere near this big house where she now is - it's more as if it's coming out of nowhere. And it sounds familiar, as if she has to think harder to recognize exactly who it is.. ]
... Suitors, seriously?
