[ The Doctor simply nods to the dreamer as they find themselves in The TARDIS console room. He's flying around the console, as par usual, hitting random things and random dials. Sitting on his head is a cowboy hat. Somehow, it just works with the bowtie, suspenders and green coat. Don't ask. ]

Right then! I've got a special treat in mind. [ He turns away from the console, facing the dreamer with a smile on his face. He crosses his arms over his chest. ] I've got the TARDIS set up to land on one day of the year - any year - any place in any year! One special day. It comes around every year but it's the day that almost everyone looks forward to. All I have to do is hit the randomize blinker and we're off!

Call it a present! You'll understand when we land.

[But his job as a Hero is the most ideal, really. He can dig up clues to what Ouroboros is, even if they don't come by as often as he'd like them to.]

[Well, he's honestly surprised. He has very few good memories of Christmas, and the last one he ever truly celebrated was before his parents' deaths. A stranger offering him a surprise for the holidays is something he's never experienced, to his knowledge, outside of his fanbase.]

[He instinctively reaches for the nearest solid object to hold on, just before the ride begins.]

[ Good! Because, this ride is crazy--even better? The pilot is just as crazy. ]

[Oh, joy. Thank god he didn't eat anything before coming here, but the ride is bumpy enough that he feels a little queasy already. When will it stop?]

[ Riiiight now! The TARDIS comes to a halt, the column stops moving. Then he smiles and hops over to the doors. ]

[ Oh, he's patient. Well, patientish. Then he throws the doors open and steps outside...

Not where I was expecting, but, that's part of the fun! Somewhere in India...

[Well, this is a surprise. He's never been anywhere outside of Sternbild before, not counting those times on Hero business. And India? He's certainly never even considered going there.]
