[Welcome to the beach. A beach with a clear, beautiful ocean and white sand. The kind of beach one might expect in pictures of a vacation resort. In the distance behind it is stands a grand city, her home and legacy. But the sun does not shine upon the beach. Night has taken over and the stars above are free to shine without a cloud to hinder them. Anyone who gazes up at the night sky might find another smaller and oddly shaped moon alongside it.

Seth is there, walking into the water until it reaches her knees. After which she proceeds to walk around in that depth with a faint smile on her face. Unlike most who’d go to the beach in a swimsuit she’s doing this in one of her short dresses. It is just water. No reason to fret over if it gets wet. After all who is going to care about a little wet clothing? ]

[There's a girl laughing and playing in the water as well, splashing lightly as though she doesn't have a care in the world. She, too, is dressed in her everyday clothing.]

[A visitor! And here she thought she found the secluded part of the beach. But she turns to the girl with a pleasant grin.]

I didn't know anyone else liked coming out here at this time.

[Obviously. But whoever the girl is, she seems to enjoy that slight secretiveness almost as much as she enjoys the not-quite-swim.]

[A shrug, well actually swimming wasn't on the agenda but hey, it's a free world and her Empire. She could do whatever she pleased.]

[But she's not human! She moves faster then the human eye can follow on land, by her logic is works just as well in water. Granted there's the chance it might be more like running on top of water but same difference.]

Besides cheating at a race just seems kind of fun too.]

Hm, I don't know. I usually don't go racing in the water, especially since I tend to get asked that by Methuselah. Then it becomes so unfair.

That depends on how fast is "quite fast". Fast to terrans and fast to a methuselah are not the same.

I don't know anything about 'methuselah' [though she assumes 'terrans' can equate to 'humans' more or less, as it often does]

[Now the question: While she's here as Mizuno Ami, how much of her power does she want to use? But she's used to showing off these days; she's less cautious in other worlds, which she already assumes this is.]

How does six meters out and back sound? Or would you care for a different distance?

[Six meters. Barely anything; a fraction of a lap in a standard pool. But Ami agrees anyway.

Her agreement, true to form, comes in the shape of swimming those twelve meters, half a length all told. True to her word, she is far faster than a normal person would be; it wouldn't be a stretch to call it Olympic level.

[And that's why she liked shorter distances. She was better at gauging a person's abilities in short bursts. She never understood why it was like, maybe it had to do with her own abilities but ah well.

She waves a hand, dismissive and appearing care-free.]

[Sin seems to appear on the shore, almost as if he was there to begin with. He's sitting on the sand, just where the waves can't reach him. And he's watching you Seth. When he speaks, his voice echoes slightly.] I wonder what you're thinking about...

[Normally the only time she hears an echoed voice it's never a good sign. So she whips around and stare at him, suspicious for a moment before it fades into a neutral gaze.]

Ah, memories... My favourite things to play with when it comes to weaving dreams. However, this one doesn't seem to be of my own creation. I wonder then just what is making it. [He seems to get lost in his own little cloud of thoughts, trying to formulate an answer.]
