sixth battle
[Nacrene City: a city of storehouses, and the home of Lenora, the Nacrene Gym Leader. Whitlea doesn't know exactly why she would be dreaming about Nacrene now, but she doesn't really mind.
At first glance, the Nacrene Museum is very artistic. And why shouldn't it? The city has a reputation for great artists, something Burgh would attest to. Once inside, you'll find that it doesn't disappoint. There are fossils and artifacts everywhere, historical treasures stored inside glass display boxes. From the Vanillish happily floating around the place, Whitlea has been here.
But where is she, exactly? The answer: in the library room at the back of the museum, reading a book about, ironically, dreams. She's rather absorbed in it, and won't notice anyone until they actually take the initiative to talk to her.

hihi! :D how've you been?
The library room is, of course, perfectly suited to her, and she finally makes her way there. When she sees Whitlea, she hesitates just outside the door, but finally steps across the threshold.]
It's been awhile, Whitlea!
[The greeting is half friendly, half challenge.]
Studying hard?
Swamped! Man, I missed this game.
Hey, Ami! [She punctuates this greeting with a wave.]
aww. i've missed you!
This museum, the artifacts here, all of this is related to your world, isn't it?
Missed you too!
Pretty much, yeah. The Nacrene Gym Leader, Lenora, is an archaeologist and the director of the museum.

[This was also the site of two of the few battles she has ever lost. It took five trips to the Pinwheel Forest and sinking her money into five Potions for her to barely manage to win.]

[Of course, by their opposing natures, those two are sometimes harder to reconcile.]

Yeah. Must be pretty hard.

I don't want to give up either of them.
[A nod to the books Whitlea's been looking through.]
What are you researching?

He's a well-known figure in psychology. In fact, he was a pioneer in the field of psychoanalysis. However, his theories centered on sex to the exclusion of other factors.
He was very interested in dream interpretation himself. He considered dreams to be suggestive of our desires.

as i totally change my mind on her reaction, with apologies XD
When I'm speaking, give me your attention.
Ffff, don't worry! I didn't notice.
[flipping to a page in the book that shows...a Munna]
They're Psychic-type Pokemon that eat dreams. It says here that after the dream's been eaten, the person or Pokemon that dreamt it won't remember it.
XD
Anyway, where can they be found? [She needs one. :|]

[Although, the last time she went there, there were two Plasma Grunts who were kicking a Munna to get its Dream Mist. As you can imagine, she wasn't pleased.]
