[ The dream tonight is a rather empty one, compared to the brilliant things that people could find themselves in. A simple beach surrounded by mountains, clear blue skies and a deep blue lake, and a small picnic area set to the side. The moon can be seen, despite it being day, rippling in the water. By the waterfront is an old station wagon, and of course the Doctor. He stands with his hands in his pockets, staring out over the restless waters, with his back to the dreamer.

He seems older than normal. He doesn't look a day older, but his shoulders are sagged and his head held as if he were carrying burdens upon burdens of the universe - similar to Atlas. With a deep sigh, he tilts his head back and looks up at the sky. ]

(ooc: This is Future!Eleven for the time event! As explained in the ooc post, it means this is the Eleven we see from the beginning of Impossible Astronaut as opposed to the Eleven from The Doctor's Wife. Your character doesn't need to be affected by the event to tag him, but Eleven will be acting as if he has known your character for nearly two hundred years~ )

[ The arm hug turns into Serenity laying her cheek on his shoulder. ]

Will you show me more?

There won't be any other Time Lords.

... Please pardon me if this sounds selfish, but I am not here to see other Time Lords.

Well, then. As long as it's not disappointing.

I sincerely doubt it.

[ He smiles and starts walking towards the domed city. ]

[ She's not missing a step and is still walking along side him admiring the scenery thus far. ]

[ The Doctor remains silent as the entire the dome, stubbornly not looking the houses or the buildings, only the ground before his feet. ]

[ Her eyes watch the streets and the buildings -- the houses and all the decorations that make this city what it is, but her attentions always fall back to the Doctor. ]

[ He can't look at it. He ran away from it oh so long ago and on the final time he came home, he destroyed it. Even if there were no other Time Lords to see it, he couldn't bring himself to look at it. ]

[ Long enough they walk in silence. It's when Serenity motions for them to stop so she place a hand on his face and motion for him to look at her. ]

If you wish to leave, Doctor...

[ The Doctor looks at her guilty. ]

I never wanted to stay. I ran away... I ran and I ran... until I had to come home and destroy it.

But we're here now even if it's in your dreams.

[ And reaching up, she strokes his hair to try and comfort him even just a little bit. ]

What we do here is your choice but... I will always be here with you no matter what you decide.

[ He smiles. ]

[ She gazes up at him, moving to cup his cheek in her hand. ]

So, what shall it be?

You need to finish seeing the city.

....Lead the way then.

[ And he does~ ]

[ She's seen so many things with the Doctor but being able to share this ... it just means so much more as they go through the rest of the city arm in arm. ]

[ The last place the Doctor takes her is the heart of the Citadel, where the Time Lords ruled. ]

[ It's at this point that Serenity finally detaches herself and takes in everything; head constantly turning and looking and trying to burn this place into her memories. ]

[ She would have to. The only place the memories of Gallifrey existed were in his head and the TARDIS matrix. ]

[ Then she takes extra care to remember every detail of the world the Doctor is from. Even if in the waking world she can't recall the large spires or the large glass domes where you can see the two suns, she will here. ]
