[ Peter is, as he's want to do from time to time, standing outside in the pouring rain on some city street. This is a pretty common occurrence in his life, truth be told, which is why he's yet to go anywhere. At least the world isn't falling down around him while it rains, which is a definite improvement to many of the moments in his life.

Oh, he's definitely about to start walking, considering it's... raining, just give him a few more seconds.

Until then, he's just going to stand and start looking only mostly drenched, head tipped down to at least keep the water out of his eyes. And anyway, he's got his coat on, so what more could he possibly need? Peter doesn't really do umbrella's. ]

[ Look, he wasn't trying to trick Sylar into coming up with something. He just... doesn't want to think of somewhere to go. ]

Think i'll pass on the comic convention this time. [ He's almost tempted to just start walking back home. Dreams where he doesn't have to do shit are nice sometimes, okay. ]

Then let's go. [He's looking at Peter like "seriously why don't you know how this dream thing works ....." ]

[ After about a half second of Sylar looking at him like that, Peter resorts to glowering. ] Look, you're better at this then I am.

[ But he's been practicing. Sort of. And another half second later they're just... in Peter's apartment and he's already kicking off his shoes. ]

[He carries on the conversation as if the scenery change didn't just happen.] You admitting I'm better than you at something? I need to frame this moment and hang it on my wall.

[With that, he starts wandering around the apartment, running his hands along the sides of things just to ~feel~ them. It's been awhile since he's been in Sylar's apartment -- in his world they moved around a few times, for various reasons.]

[ Peter almost says that he doesn't even have a wall to hang it on, but that's... a little harsh. So instead he rolls his eyes. ] Don't get used to it. But I can't lucid dream -- controlling these things is almost the same.

[ Watching Sylar for a couple seconds, he gives him a curious look, but shrugs and lets him... continue fondling his furniture while he wanders off to get a towel from the bathroom. ]

[RUDE. :C He'll just keep fondling until Peter comes back. And maybe wander toward the kitchen.] It's not that hard. You just have to try.

[ HE DIDN'T SAY IT :| When he does come back, he's attempting to dry off his hair, stopping only to reply. ] I have tried.

Maybe you're not trying hard -- [When he turns to look at Peter in all his freshly showered glory, he stops talking to gape because his life is a shitty romantic comedy.] -- enough.

Maybe. [ It's a really, really shitty romantic comedy. But Peter runs a hand through his still damp hair while he stares back to Sylar, unconsciously trying to keep it from sticking up everywhere. ] What?

Nothing. [He goes back to rummaging around the kitchen and pretending that that didn't just happen.]

... Right. [ Peter just shakes his head, draping the towel over his shoulder while he watches Sylar poke around in his kitchen. ] What're you looking for?

Nothing? Just, you know, looking around ...

[ Peter stares at him for another second before just... shrugging. ] Okay, fine. [ And then he disappears once again to return his towel to the bathroom. ]
