001 ╰☆╮ Dreaming after a battle {intro!}

Before this dream started there was a bright flash of white light, followed by a seemingly endless flower field appears, extending way beyond to what the eyes can see and at the moment Rinoa is not quite sure if it's accurate or not, there's even the distant sound of the ocean and it's enough for her to recognize this place as what it is.

The flower field behind Edea's orphanage, a gentle drift of wind sweeps by causing the sea of flowers to sway in rhythm with it, some petals even fluttering in the wind, the wind even move through the bright white feathers of her wings, ones that she hadn't even realized yet and even if she had she won't pay any attention to them at the moment

Rinoa moved further in the flower field, kneeling down her fingers touches one of the flowers, before a deep weary sigh escaped her lips and the wings slowly start to disappear, some lingering feathers being swept away with the wind. "Did we win or…?" Had they failed?

(ooc: *coughs* why yes the last thing she remembers at the moment is fighting Ultimecia, I am going with the assumption there was a quick passing out after Ultimecia blew up.)

Rinoa really doesn’t needs to think about that for long, she already knows the answer and she knows why she is meant to be here. "Yes, I promised to meet with someone in this place."

They were supposed to meet her after the battle with Ultimecia, so if she’s here then that means they succeeded.

"Who are you meeting? Is it a comrade from your battles? What happened during the fighting?"

The questions are leading, as always. The more Rinoa remembers, the more likely it is she has indeed won, and come here safely.

"I’m meeting with…" She stops there for a bit, she doesn’t exactly want to say his name but she is not sure how to describe their connection. "…my knight."

Yes, she concludes that's the best way to describe it, as for the fight. "The fight was intense; she even managed to call a GF we didn’t even know existed."

A knight. Like some fairy tale. Lethe doesn't comment outwardly, but the idea is hardly... practical, to someone whose life has been about survival for this long now.

"A GF?" She's vaguely interested in the unfamiliar term.

There’s really nothing fairytale like from that term, no matter how some had tried to make it look in her world, it might be a bit of a sweet romantic notion, but there is a reason they are called that even if it’s a bit of a darker purpose.

"Yes, Guardian Forces…" She stops for a bit, slowly starting to understand that whoever this person was she wasn’t from her world. "Creatures that we can summon to aid us in battle."

A phage?

Rinoa just blinks a bit looking a bit startled, "What is a phage?" Though she might suppose it’s something akin to a GF.

They're creatures born of star seeds, that Galaxia-sama and all of us use in our battles.

Oh, those kind of sound like GF’s at least a bit, except that I’m not sure how the GF’s were created and by who.

Do they frighten you? [The phages had been strong, strong enough to use against senshi in many of the planets the Shadow Galactica targeted.]

"If you mean the GF’s…no they don’t." Sure, they had that awful after effect of affecting your memory due to constant use, but feeling their presence there was rather comforting and she even had quite deep bonds with some of them. "I don’t really have a reason to be afraid of them."

Memory?

"Then they're different," Lethe says with a certain innate satisfaction. "You should be afraid of the ones I know."

A person without a star seed is a monster.

"I guess they are." She looks at her a bit startled. "Are they really that dangerous?" Technically GF’s could be as well if they were used against you or you had to fight them.

"Not to me," Lethe says, still blandly. She made that choice. "They fight for me when I need them to."

"Yes that does sound a bit like the GF’s as well." They after all fought for whoever summoned them, but it seemed that not a lot had them.

"Can you show me one?" She supposes she's curious, or maybe it's more to judge Rinoa's nature better.

"Ah…" She stops for a bit, not sure if she has one juctioned, she will need to check and she is quickly doing said checking, "Do you think that will be safe?"

"Are you planning to use them to attack me if you call them?" How rude, Rinoa; and Lethe seems entirely confident of defending herself in such an event.
