The butterfly husk falls to what passes for ground as the pin no longer holds it in place. It shimmers suddenly, and in its place, curled up on her side and with her uniform as tattered as the butterfly's wings had been, is Mercury. A hole still gapes where the pin had been, at what is now her chest.
