With both ignoring her, Ami's eyes narrowed; but her face lightened again as soon as Kadaj sprang forward, that heightened smile back in place. It was just as good to watch, to witness the demonstration and the clash between Cloud and Kadaj. She tilted her head with every impression of enjoying herself.

Besides that, she'd have her opening soon enough - very soon, if their focus on each other meant Cloud left himself open to her attacks... when she got around to feeling like stepping in.
