The labs held no meaning to a remnant like Kadaj. He had never personally experienced them. There had been no painful shots into his arms, no bright lights glaring into his eyes, no cold tables to press against his back, and no strangers taking notes; talking amongst themselves like he did not even exist. However, the jumbled memories passed down from Sephiroth did elicit a strong sense of anger and aggression. He ruffled the little one’s hair and then casually pushed him away.
“You mean, ShinRa?” He asked, back turned. “No.” Fingers curled into fists. “You don’t belong with them. You belong with us.” Kadaj glanced over his shoulder, eyeing what could have very well been a miniature of himself. “You belong with family. You belong here. Got it?”
