Oh bother. Seems as if you've lost your way.

You've been meandering as 'whatever-you-are's tend to do quite often, if only because 'whatever-you-ares' are very good at meandering.

But perhaps it might have been better to do what 'whatever-you-are's do best some other time, since you are actually searching for a very specific somebody! They most certainly will help you today, you think. Help you find some hunny, or track down those dastardly heffalumps and woozles. Perhaps to help tend your garden, or build your house which will just fall over anyway. It always does. And maybe in the future, you'll need them to fetch you from that tree when you'll be blown into by a blustery wind on a blustery day!

Either way, you'll hear the pitter patter of footsteps approach from behind, perhaps a stranger, or perhaps a very good friend.

And when you turn, this maybe-friend-or-perhaps-stranger greets you!

Sora offers a hand. "There you are!" And a warm smile. "You ready?"

[Well, this slightly familiar girl looks rather gloomy. A black cloud rains above her, and she hangs her head and doesn't exactly reach out to take Sora's hand.]

If I go, the rain will just follow.

[Sora lowers himself down onto a knee in front of her, smiling sympathetically.]

If it rains, just leave it to me! I've got just the way to make sure you stay dry no matter what.

It's no good. You'd just end up getting all wet, too. And your clothes look so nice.

[This is the very strangest thing to happen to him. Even stranger than losing his heart, and that says something. And look--it's that other him. Sora quietly blinks, then nods. He has... No idea what they're supposed to be doing, but he's a tiny stuffed Shadow and maybe it doesn't matter. So long as they have fun... Right?]

That's okay. The rain's not so bad. I kinda like it.

[And Sora slips off his jacket. Straightens it. And then drapes it over Ami's shoulders. The shoulder guards make it fit a bit awkwardly on Ami, but with some adjusting of the straps, it sits comfortably on the girl. And for good measure, he gently pulls the hood right up onto her head.]

How's that? Better?

[She pokes idly at the straps.] I expect they'll come apart, and I'll lose your jacket, later on.

You're just the little guy I've been looking for.

[Sora just kneels beside the small stuffed shadow and reaches out to take its hand before he stands.]

If we hold hands, we'll stick together easier. Sound good?

[Roxas isn't happy (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3082/2282305611_c5caf9b97e.jpg). When Sora holds out his hand, Roxas attempts to swat it away-- for all the good that's doing him. He's...how did he get so small?!]

No. I'm staying here.

[Dare he even say he was almost embarrassed by the current situation? Possibly. It certainly felt like it.]

[On top of that he'd gone and stepped in a puddle, and now it felt like his foot was made of lead. It was all Sora's fault.]

Huh? Oh no, I wouldn't worry about that. The fairies made this jacket for me. It's made of pretty strong stuff! If it'll hold together for me, it'll be just fine for today and all the stuff we're gonna do.

[...Sora's been looking for him? Well, it's not like he's really doing anything. So he'll quietly twine his plush claws around Sora's hand.]

Aw, c'mon Roxas. It's not that bad!

[There's this glimmer of excitement in Sora's voice, of this poorly masked delight in seeing his partner like this. He's totally not laughing, Roxas. Here's his most serious face.]

Sure am. You think you can keep up with me?

[His tail twitches and curls behind him, mirroring his eagerness to set off.]

[Perfect. When the little shadow's fingers curl around his hand, sora gets right back up to his feet. He takes one tentative step, and then another, just to make sure his pace is enough for the little shadow to keep up with.]

You know... I can't help feeling like we've met before.

[...But his voice is much higher pitched than when they last met. On another note, the pace is perfectly fine, even if Darkra is finding himself waddling along.]

[A laugh.] Guess we'll find out, won't we?

[Axel, raring to go as always. He's just got to make sure that their trip doesn't take them anywhere near Rabbit's field. Everything there's a little too flammable ...]

[He sets the pace down a path through the woods, sunlight easily streaming in through the treetops.]

[He'd figured, being Sora's Other-- no matter what world they were in, they'd at least end up in the same state. Not so. He's torn between being positively horrified and furious, plush face set into a heavy glare. It's not very effective.]

I may be a toy, but I don't need help walking. So you can't just-- [Uh. Uh, wind. Roxas wobbles violently in the breeze, before it dies down. Great; he'd weighed as much as a leaf. And with that he's just going to waddle in the other direction-- away from Sora.]

[He's not even going to try and summon the keyblade like this. If it as made of anything heavier than plastic, he'd just face plant anyway.]

Sure! [There's a slight shock at the fact that, hey, she's not talking like a Pokemon, but the promise of an adventure overwhelms that.] Better be able to keep up with me, though, or I'll have to leave you behind!

[Sora doesn't seem all that surprised. Probably because they're building this dream together, and so long as she's all right with it, it makes sense to him.]

[A laugh and a resulting grin. Whitelea's always up for adventure!]

I'll do my best. [He's not sure if it's his turn to pick their next adventure today, or if its Whitleas', but hey. They can wing it!]

[Huh? He scratches his cheek, looking a little confused at the little dragon in front of him.]

I've always been this tall. [But hopefully he's still got some growth spurts left in him!]

[Oh man this is killing him. He even feels a little bad: Roxas is just short of angry, but Sora's never seen anything more adorable.] Hey wait up!

[He can see ever teeter, every stumble, every precarious moment that one or two or even both feet almost lift up from the floor.]

Really? [He remembers meeting another Sora before, but he looked a little different.] Nice to see you again, Sora.

Hmmm... might get kinda confusing having two Soras. How's about we think up some nicknames while we walk?
