What was your reason for that?

[Even as she asks it, she's not sure if she wants to answer in turn. At first, it had been a secret shared with the others, something that bound them closer together that outsiders didn't share.

Now... Perhaps it was no more than convenience. A way to have a private life as well as a public. Both.]
