"Even the smallest wounds eventually fester." Anyone in her line of work knows that sentiment all too well. Unfortunately, that one knot of scar tissue on her hip still irritates her from time-to-time, but there are reasons those were unable to receive proper treatment - same with the claw-marks across her eye. They serve more as reminders than hindrances, thankfully.
Which begs the question of why Calpurnia was in what felt like a civilian medical ward, of all places... but it isn't a priority.
