Somehow, again, Homura has found herself at the side of an innocent who knows far too little about his own journey. She carries a bow; a wandering ranger who has traveled far and wide, all over the country and beyond, in pursuit of her own quest.

She is patient with the boy, surprisingly so. Perhaps it is that very innocence that makes her willing to protect him, to keep him from harm. She would like to find his way to a bright future.

Cautious always, she speaks rarely unless spoken to, but she is skilled at finding hidden paths and seems to know the territory better than one might expect. Finally, at the close of the day, as the sun begins to dip, she turns to her companion.

"It is growing dark. Do you wish to make camp shortly? We can eat our provisions, and rest early. You have walked far today."
